Fabulous night from the sunset to the dinner. The food was fantastic, a huge range of options and cooked to how I like it. All staff were very friendly and made the night to be even better. Would definitely recommend this evening

We wished they had made it more obvious there was an additional charge for the park entry as we had to take time before we got on the coach paying this extra fee to an already expensive trip.
The bbq and the star grazing was amazing. To see the milky way so clearly with no light pollution was fabulous. It was a shame we were so close to the base of the rock but we couldnt see it as it was so dark would have liked to have arrived at the bbq site slightly earlier but it was a really amazing time .

Fantastic trip with Liam our pilot.
    Very informative trip.
This experience will stay with me forever. Thankyou Liam

    Cancelled half hour before dinner.
Told us we have to attend the nibble component and would not be refunded. They said they would refund proportional but was completely off the mark when recieved funds back.

Highlight of the trip. Emily was a wonderful host and Odin knows a ton about constellations! It was phenomenal.

  6. Karen_P

Setting was wonderful & star talk was excellent. Staff were very friendly & helpful & selection if food was amazing. Would have preferred when booking tickets if it had been made more obvious that National Parks Passes were a necessity & had option to purchase when purchasing dinner tickets

The entire even was a delight! From the prompt pick up to the beauty site of Uluru at sunset, to the wonderful array of food selection to the service given. The commentator for star talk had his work cut out for him as nearly the entire sky was socked in with clouds. His talk was so interesting that not being able to see the stars was almost not necessary. Bravo!

A nice tour of uluru at sunset. Definitely get the barbecue dinner option. Was very nice under the stars. A must do on this tour.

  9. Rebecca_W

We booked our tickets to this experience thinking we were paying approx $450 AUD – a BBQ for 3 people – this felt a little high but doable. Instead we were charged over $700 AUD. A complete shock to the system.
The experience promised champagne and also grilled prawns on the menu – neither of which were available on the night.
If you do book an experience I recommend that you seek to book directly with AAT Tours and not Viator. Also the sunset drinks is a pleasant enough experience. The BBQ experience is completely over-rated and really expensive at $700 AUD.

Great trip very friendly staff great dinner a good trip to take
A must book on your holiday to Ayers tovk

  11. Rajesh_R

The Sunset tour was good but the canapes was very ordinary and charging $220 for BBQ dinner is way too expensive.

  12. Daphne_G

The sunset was spectacular. Uluru was magical. The colours as the sun goes down on Uluru was so beautiful. Photos do not do it justice. The bbq dinner under the stars was well worth it. Food was great and staff wonderful

  13. Ujjal_M

Well organised tour by AAT KINGS. All went according to our expectations. The Star guide used humour in showing us the major stars, constellations and planets although the near full moon hid a few of the stars and constellations. The food and wine were also very good.

  14. Brent_H

Our bus driver Jess was fantastic. Everything happened so smoothly. Food, wine and environment were wonderful.

  15. Ania_P

The stop at the sunset prior to bbq was great however the food provided was very poor, at least paper plates could have been provide not eating on napkins. BBQ dinner was roommate no view of the rock, bbq food was very average.

  16. Craig_J

Great view of Ayers Rock and night sky but meal menu did not meet expected criteria that was advertised

  17. Cheryl_C

Awesome dinner great group of people. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
    All round a lovely evening.

  18. Clifford_O

Watching the colors change on Uluru and the star talk. The food and drinks were a nice addition. Eating under the stars was great.

Once in a Lifetime opportunity to View One of World’s Magical places, meet new Friends, and Learn about the Aboriginal People.

  20. Rubina_R

The dinner was average , and the nibbles at the sunset finished and were not replaced , however besides that the watching Ulluru at sunset was magical .
The bus was comfy and the guides good .the star viewing didn’t happen as the weather was cloudy

22/5/23-What a totally disappointing experience this was! The menu advertised wasn’t served. Several of our party weren’t meat eaters & were looking forward to the garlic prawns. The experience proved to be a very expensive dinner of salads. The Star Tour Guide didn’t turn up! The marketing of the dinner being next to the rock is deceiving. Save your money.
