Just amazing. Being able to walk around the boat & to see its engine room was awesome. Staff were fantastic. Nice coffees with a choice of seating, inside or out. The meal at Walter Peak was beautiful with a wide variety of salads & hot vegetables if meat isn’t your thing. Choice of desserts after, all laid out as a smorgasborg.
A must do is joing the sing a long with the pianist on the way back.Highly reccommend this trip, worth every penny.

Beautiful trip along the lake on TSS Earnslaw – very chilled and comfortable watching the fantastic scenery slip by. Arrival at Walter Peak was a complete surprise – and what a beautiful place. The walk to the restaurant through beautiful floral gardens was a taste of things to come. The barbecue was fab …. be warned it is a LOT of delicious food, so limit your breakfast ;-)!!! We then thoroughly enjoyed watching an eye-dog demonstration of lifting a group of sheep from the hills. A knowledgeable and skilful demonstration, with an obvious bond with his 2 dogs (although I understand the demonstration area shows change)

Lovely and be peaceful cruise on a 1912 steam boat in the evening sun followed by a decent buffet BBQ meal before the return trip. Don’t miss having a close look at the original steam engine in action. Total activity took about 4 hours. Well worth it even though to price is a bit on the high side.
