We chose to hire a boat privately as a family of four. Unfortunately we didn’t receive any of the refreshments (water, alcoholic beverages) or snacks (pastries, fruit. etc) that were specified as included in the package, only a fruit skewer was offered when we anchored with another boat to allow time for a quick swim. We also didn’t go closer to any of the caves, as some boats did, to allow a better look or for photos. It felt a little rushed.

We thought we would be on a relaxing trip with a bit of a tour of the coast and caves, but instead we had loud music playing, very little facts on the tour and a glass of Prosecco only was offered despite what the tour should have included. The tour person was friendly enough, but didn’t feel particularly comfortable on the trip overall and expensive for something that was more of a boat ride rather than a proper tour. Would not use this again.

We, family of six, 2 overweight grandparents (one disabled), a 2 year old, a 5 year old and their parents arrived at the designated meeting spot. The seas were very rough near shore and we could even see the boat bouncing back and forth as it approached. The boat operator did not pull up to a dock or any other place the boat could be tied down and safe to board. We waded out to the boat which was still thrashing with the waves with the bow of the boat pointing at us. We asked the operator how to get on. He said, “Hop on.” We asked him if he had a ladder to climb on board. He said no, just hop on. We told him we can’t do that. As we stood there arguing with him, he could not control his vessel and the boat HIT my five year old granddaughter in the head. The operator backed out of the area and returned to the sea and we could see him on the phone. We called the lady from the tour and told her what was going on and demanded a refund. My daughter argued with her for 10 minutes about the refund and the lady said she would issue the refund. Still haven’t got the refund. I have a video of the waves hitting the shore that day. This company should have told us that the seas were rough. They should also have advised us that there is NO DOCK AND NO OTHER WAY TO GET ON THE BOAT EXCEPT BY “HOPPING ON” THE BOW OF THE BOAT AND CRAWLING OVER TO THE SEATS!

Wonderful way to kick off our stay in Taormina! We booked this tour for our first day to get a relaxing lay of the land and it did not disappoint! Tour guides were very knowledgeable & attentive. Our favorite part was the caves in the rocks. Highly recommend!

Our captain Nicholas is exceptional and made this a wonderful time to remember. He is great navigator and he explains everything perfectly. He made you welcome onboard so you feel you are in your own boat. Very pleasant and charming!

Really nice private boat tour for me and my wife.
Easy and helpful organisation, including them booking a return taxi to pick us up and drop us off between hotel and embarkation point.
Then the tour itself was great. Lovely little boat that’s perfectly comfortable and the driver/guide Nicholas is brilliant. Takes you right up and even into some of the caves where possible which is pretty cool to see.
Then after about an hour or so along the coast, we stopped for a bit and Nicholas offerd us some prosecco or juice and provided some snacks. It was so beautiful to chill out on the ocean with a drink before heading back.
Good value for money and would recommend.

We loved being on the boat and experiencing the beautiful scenery and cave formations from the water vantage point. The boat is very clean and comfortable. Our tour was exactly one hour, we felt like our swim/relax on the water time was cut short.

Overall, very disappointing. Not only were there only three bottles of water for seven people, but the almond pastry, chips, and pretzels were absent. Nor was there fruit juice or the sodas. Not only that, but Nicholas showed up late, and tried to end early. When we called him on it, he took us to a very choppy and rough part of the sea. It was very scary and unsafe for the baby. Very disappointing
