We stayed in Darling Harbor and had we understood how this works probably would of used it more. Hint, get the schedule, layout your planned trips and use it as transportation

An excellent way off getting around the harbour. The vessels are very clean and always on time. We enjoyed the zoo very much they have a strong ethos on conservation
The exhibits allow you to get up close to the animals and the zoo keeper talks are very informative.

The Taronga Zoo was one of the highlights of our family trip to Sydney. A must visit. You get ferry ride. You have an excellent view of the city.

Good way to get to an see the Taronga Zoo on one ticket. Also great commentary from the Hop on cruise guide.

Views from the cable car and Zoo were pretty spectacular but not many animals to see. Lots seemed to be missing from their enclosures and many of the spectator areas were out of bounds. Didn’t get to any of the keeper presentations as most of the exhibits only had one each day. The seal show only took place at weekends and holidays.
The two day James Cook hop on hop off ticket was not good value. Very limited number of sailings compared to other operators made it impractical to “simply jump on and off as many stops as you like, when you’re ready to move onto your next destination just catch the next boat”. Furthermore, the sailings quoted on the website were incorrect and different timings applied each day

The Sydney Harbour cruise was amazing. We were able to get on and off at our leizure and there were plenty of boat times throughout the day. It was recommended that we go early to have enough time to see the Zoo. It was a very well kept and well designed zoo, too! I especially loved the indigenous animals, as well as the new tiger and elephant exhibits. Would definitely go again!

It was ok. Most animals In The zoo were not even available Over all it wasn’t to bad It felt like we were at a child care center. A million kids running around unsupervised sneezing and coughing.

Stop to Manly! We did the short walk to manly beach and Shelly beach. It was absolutely magnificent, just beautiful. We were able to stay as long as we wanted. Would do that again in a heartbeat

The commentary. The weather was very rainy and we couldn’t really enjoy hop on hop off. We got off at the zoo because it was none refundable and , well, hey. We only saw about 1/3 of the zoo. But our ferry guy was very pleasant and helpful to point out a point of interest I asked about.

We enjoyed taking a ferry to the Taronga Zoo where we could spend as much time as we liked. We looked at the Australian animals’ section of the zoo but chose not to see the rest since they were animals we had already seen. There is a lot of walking up and down hills. We got back on the ferry and toured the harbour as it stopped at the beaches and other stops but chose not to get off. It was nice to have the choice.

Memorável mesmo a grande trovoada e chuva quando estávamos no zoo!!!
Acabamos por não ver tudo 🥲.
Fora isso tudo muito bom 👍

Sometimes it isn’t clear as to where the hop on and off stops were. After a long day at the zoo or a hot day in the sun you get to where you think you need to be but there are no clear signposts. Staff were friendly enough, and overall if you make good use of the two days then it is very good value for money. Whenever I called the Captain Cook Cruise phone number they were very helpful and straight to the point.

Great ride on the boats. Easy to use. Saw the zoo and it was great to see kangaroos koalas and wallabys. Recommend highly. Lion exhibit was closed. The other exhibits allow visitors to get really close to the animal habitat. Some enclosures seemed on the small side.
