I loved the introduction in Chinatown, lovely food, great conversation.
Pam_O –
Food was good. Sophie’s knowledge of the area and how it changed over the years was great.
Jonathan_C –
Great tour of China Town restaurants and interesting stories from our guide. The Tea ceremony was an unexpected treat!
Treewillia –
This was such a fun and tasty tour and we learned and saw so much that we would not have experienced on our own. In fact, my kids (ages 14 and 13) declared it their favorite part of our one week stay and Sydney! My husband and I were also very pleased! Thank you for a very memorable evening!
Neville_H –
Excellent guide. Great food. Interesting people . I don’t need to write 100 words to say it was good
Gennady_M –
Thank you Bruce for taking us around China town and showing us all of these amazing places. Definitely a must book tour for anyone visiting the area for the first time.
Larry_B –
Not worth the value when compared to other bookings we did in Sydney. The Blue Mtns and Hunter Valley tour was much better.
Jennifer_C –
Nooralindah (I hope I spelt that correctly my apologies if not) was the perfect guide. She went out of her way to ensure we had the best experience. Thank you for the delicious food treat at the end. Highly recommend this tour.
Chris_N –
Loved the tea ceremony. Our guide from South Korea was excellent. An interesting selection of food. Catered well for vegetarians etc
Shannon_L –
Ivy was a very good guide. She was able to give us some history and very good food choices. Would do again.
Melissa_T –
Fantastic informative tour! We had delicious food, and our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and informed from living in Hong Kong for 20 years. We learned so much that it empowered us to go back to Chinatown to get more amazing food! Don’t miss this tour!
SiuLing_J –
Bruce was a fantastic guide, wealth of history and knowledge. I am British Chinese but learnt a lot. Food was spectacular
Ken_F –
This tour provided us with the opportunity to try many different types of food from restaurants we wouldn’t have thought to try. Everything was really tasty and, if we were in a position to return, we would have certainly been happy to go back and try other things.
The tour guide did an excellent job of providing us with information about each place, each item and an overview of the Chinatown experience.
It was certainly a good experience and we highly recommend it.

Knowledgeable enthusiastic and humorous guide showed us a nice range of historically significant parts of central Sydney. Very enjoyable experience.
Balfour_S –
Wonderful introduction to the multi-faceted food cultures of Sydney’s Chinatown. Fusion foods like Emperor’s Puffs, Macau Tarts, and KFC; Chinese dishes; and Malaysian dishes. All complimented by a visit to a Chinese tea merchant to sample the flavors of tea.
Our guide, Noor, is fantastic. She definitely enjoys sharing the culture and history of Sydney. But, even more, she is such am empathetic and thoughtful person. Walking and chatting with her is a true pleasure. If she is giving the tour, you can’t miss it.

Bruce had lots of interesting information…
I felt safe in the group and learnt new foods and restaurants..

Great food and good variety. Informative history of chinatown. Best dumplings ever. It rained, but it certainly didn’t dampen the experience. Highly recommend this tour.
Arthur_R –
We had Bruce as our guide and what a great guide he was. Turned out it was just our family of 3 on the tour and Bruce made every stop an education about the history of the area and the food. He brought the Asian culture to life for us. The food was all delicious and plentiful. The tea ceremony was a highlight. Thank you so much Bruce. We highly recommend this experience.
Lisa_D –
Food was amazing. Tour guide Aiden was friendly, punctual and provided a good experience.
Aiden said he was new to the tours but he did a great job. Just some tips- wait for all the group to assemble- and then stand in the middle rather than at the front so all can hear what he is saying. Some older Americans were walking slower and were a little deaf. The tour in general would have been good to know how much to eat where. After the Portuguese tart I thought we were at dessert. We then had the Malaysian yummy breakfast but it was hard to have rice after sweets. Wine with one meal would have been even better 🙂
Overall a great experience to find hidden gems – especially the noodle house.
Would recommend to others.

Our host Noor was so lovely, very welcoming and shared lots of interesting information with us! Noor thoughtfully organised food for us to eat as soon as the tour commenced which distracted us from the cold weather! The food throughout the tour was delicious and we went home very happy and satisfied!
