A dream trip. The boat ride was great. After that we had lunch. Buffet gave the opportunity to try various things. Then we visited two viewpoints with a view of/over the canyon. These visits made the excursion correspondingly long and lengthy (drive, get off, have a look, drive, get off, have a look).

The experience as a whole is fantastic. But towards the end we took a 90 min detour to drop ppl off to Tuxtla (we were staying in San Cristobal). These ppl were picked by another van. So we wasted 90 mins of the day dropping ppl who should ideally have been dropped by the other van.

The only caveat is that the tour was advertised as a maximum of 12 participants, but the boat excursion was with 50+ passengers.
