My husband and I had the most amazing time in Sydney and this trip was one of the highlights. I chose this package simply because it’s a small group, and the price is reasonable compared with others. Being an introvert, this arrangement is the most suitable for me. Our trip began with a visit to Featherdale Wildlife Park. I appreciate that it was the first stop in our itinerary because we were the first group to arrive so we were able to enjoy walking around without bumping into crowds. The koalas are the cutest! Our tour guide, Mark, was great too. He had plenty of anecdotes to keep us company while travelling. Our next stop was the Blue Mountains. Frankly, this is just a wide landscape of well, mountains so level your expectations. We availed the additional scenic route for AUD 39 which consists of a ride in a cable car and a steep railroad plus a kind of walking trail. Then we headed off for lunch on quaint town before going into an off road hiking. I truly appreciate the spontaneity of it because it wasn’t part of the itinerary. We went into a hill (I forgot the name) and the view was majestic. Also, the weather couldn’t have been more perfect which made our little hike nice and easy. But I guess what I appreciate most in this tour is that Mark was able to accommodate my request to visit Lincoln’s Rock. I’m glad we went there because it was gorgeous! That’s probably one of the perks of small group tours-more flexibility. We really enjoyed our tour and we highly recommend this to everyone.

Scotty our tour driver guide was super excellent. Very informative and considerate taking our pictures answering questions. Very tentative great sense of humor and sings. Driving out of his way to show us views because of fog conditions.

My dad and I had a lovely day. The scenery was jaw-droppingly beautiful. The coach was comfortable, which is important on a 12-hour outing. Our driver and guide Tony was wonderful — friendly, funny, knowledgeable, helpful, and calm in the face of terrible holiday traffic and huge crowds. Best of all was Featherdale, a spectacular little wildlife park where you can have your picture taken with a koala!
There is a lot of walking and a lot of steps. My dad, 84 and having limited mobility, wasn’t able to see a lot of the sights, but Tony found places for him to wait and people-watch.
All in all, a very enjoyable experience.

Although the bus was nice and the guide was very helpful, this tour really isn’t worth it in terms of the price and the time spent. Most people by the end just wanted to head back since there was no need for it to be that long. It’s a few lookout points and hikes, followed by the wildlife park. If you’re thinking about whether to do this tour vs just rent a car and do it yourself, I would highly recommend doing a car rental and doing it yourself.

The views of the Jamison valley were spectacular.
    I loved the Featherdale preserve.
    It is a must.
I wish that the driver had put it on the earlier list.

Because we were a small group it was really nice. You could talk to everyone and get to know people from all over the world. The Tour guide Steve was amazing. Great humor. Knows alot about the history. I would definitly recommend this for a solo traveller, couple, a group and for a family.

This is a tour were you drive for ever seen the same things over and over. when you do stop there are long walks to see whatever it is you were trying to see. you were given 1 hour with the animals. when we stopped for lunch we were given 40 minutes most of the places that you had to eat at could not get you in and out in that amount of time so many of the people did not eat at all or just grab pizza. Then when we got back to the van were told a couple did not have their food yet so we were going to be waiting an extra 15 minutes for them. From early on in the day we were told about about a special spot that we’ll be stopping at that evening by the time we finally got there it was closed. All I would like out of this tour is a refund.

The three sisters stop, a little long ride to get to Blue mountains and back, overall I enjoyed the trip!
Tony was good, keeping us entertained!

We had a fantastic day with Steve, despite the inconstant weather. He was a very knowledgeable guide, and we appreciated his sense of humor as well as the breadth of information he provided.
My absolute favorite was being able to pet the koala at Featherdale, which has always been on my bucket list. But the entire day was rewarding and fun.

We had great time at Blue mountains and wildlife park with Steve.
He is very nice tour guide.
We saw rainbow when we crossed the bridge back.

Everything about this trip was perfect. The pick up was on time and easily arranged. The tour group was small, 13 of us, so not overwhelming. Our guide Steve was warm, informative, funny and knowledgeable about so many aspects of the tour. The Blue Mountains themselves are idyllic, we had several stops throughout the day, and each view was heaven. The wildlife park is great fun, we had little over an hour there but that was enough time to see the main attractions and a lot of the smaller ones. Yes, it would be lovely to have stayed longer but considering how much we fitted into the day, this is a minor comment.
It was my dream for many years to visit the Blue Mountains and this trip was better than I could have hoped for

Excellent tour our guide Steve was extremely knowledgeable about all things. Australia he made this tour a perfect ten. The views of the Blue Mountains were spectacular the little town for lunch was quite delightful. I highly recommend this tour.

This excursion is well planned from ease of booking to hotel drop off at the end of a full day. You will see a lot! Our guide Jeff juggled the itinerary as he was able to ensure we had great viewing opportunities.
Stunning views of the Blue Mountains area.
The Wildlife Park is well worth visiting.
We had lunch in Leura and chose to go to a pastry shop that made the best meat pies, quiches, and other irresistible pastries. Highly recommend it!

Looked for me in the waiting area. Jeff the driver gave tips on other places to visit aside from the itinerary.
If I followed the Viator time to meet, I could have been left behind..

We had a brilliant day, and the Blue Mountains were showing their beauty! There were many great walks through the lush greenery and the beautiful waterfalls. Words can’t describe the splendor of the scenery! The day went by so fast, and Steve was a great tour guide imparting lots of knowledge and fun stories along the way! Well worth the trip and a must-see when visiting Sydney.

  17. Charlotte_S

Beautiful views. Our guide Jeff had a lot of knowledge of the area and also of Sydney. Gave us great tips for our stay. Had a fresh and delicious lunch at the Sydney Fish Market thanks to his advice.

Excellent tour with our great guide Jim! Very knowledgable, helpful and funny. Gave us such great information to make the tour truly memorable

Our guide Steve was wonderful, keeping us entertained and informed throughout the trip. It is a long day, but we had plenty of time to see what we wanted, and we could not have asked for a nicer day out. We began at Featherdale for the animals; the hour and twenty minutes went by so quickly- the koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, quokkas and other animals were so active in the morning we could have stayed longer. However, the Blue Mountains were breathtaking and our guide helped us through the Wentworth Falls hike (1 hour) as well as stops at Echo Point (to see the 3 Sisters) and other lookouts with a final hike down to Katoomba falls (30+ minutes). The lunch stop in Leura was fine- go for a quick lunch like a hamburger, sandwich or meat pie. The stop in town is short and if you want some time to shop at the Candy Store and Chocolate Store (would recommend!) you don’t have time for a sit down meal. Would highly recommend this tour especially made easier being in a small group (just 7 of us!) so we had more time touring and less time waiting. Steve also took the time to make the tour personable and memorable answering questions, taking pictures, learning about our travels and giving advice about our time in Australia. Great time!

Tour guide Steve is very helpful and knowledgeable about the different places part of Blue Mountain and Sydney area. While touring around with coach or van he’s still managed tell us few stories/ history of the area. Even though was foggy at blue mountains that time we still able to see other parts of beautiful places like Wentworth Falls enjoying and relaxing place to see. I can definitely recommend it to my friend who is interested to try/ see.

Day started off with featherdale wildlife park which I absolutely loved. It was always a dream to come to Australia and see kangaroos. I was able to purchase kangaroo food for 3$ per cup (which was all you needed) then I took a photo with a koala 30$ not bad considering when will you ever get to do that again. Then we went to the blue mountains. Wonderful views. The hike to the waterfall said “some steps” it was definitely more then some but still beautiful to see the scenery. Would definitely recommend.
