Over crowded, despite purchasing tickets for a designated time.
Further, we still had to wait in the rain for 20 minutes to enter at our pre-paid time slot so they could take photos from f everyone who entered so they could sell them back to you at the end.
To top it off we had to exit through the obligatory gift shop at the end. A very cheesy experience.
This facility represents everything I hate about canned tourist experiences.

Unfortunately my experience from the begging was not impressive. We got there at our slotted time if 11:45am and due to the amount of people lining up to get in we didn’t get in until 12:30. Once inside it was a battle to walk due to the amount of people, prams etc. The kids had to hurry along because the were other kids wanting to see as well and although the adults pay nearly $50 to get in, you have to take a back seat because the place was overbooked.
To see the sharks OMG! What a line up!!! I don’t care if school holidays or not, no need to overbook knowing the outcome. And reducing the experience you are paying for.
It was a real shame.

Very noisy, loud music, lack of live displays, the few remaining displays were sad and lacked any appeal. So called inter active multi media displays turned out to be noisy digital information boards…… and were installed to hide long empty space between the few aquariums. It was a sad and diminished experience from what the place was 10 years ago.

Aquarium itself was okay but this app definitely could do a better job. I booked tickets through this app and was supposed to get a link for tickets in my email but the email didn’t come through. App doesn’t have ‘re-send’ email function and you can’t get tickets through the app either. Customer chat responded me one and a half hour later from the booking time and the response wasn’t useful at all. I wanted to cancel my booking, because I knew I couldn’t get assisted before the time I booked. According to the cancellation fee policy, I had to charge 100% anyway so I didn’t cancel. The kind Sealife staff saved us at the last minute. You can’t expect any help from this app if there’s something wrong. I will just delete this app.

Booked few days ago but couldn’t get the tickets at entry. It took long time before sorted this out which was inconvenient with young kid. If to book directly and issues can be resolved on the spot.

. Good strong messages re environment concerns. However, info re getting there totally inadequate, no signage, spent a lot of time in this large development trying to find our way with no-one to ask, good thing we were all able to walk well and it was not too hot or raining. Put up signs, just telling us to take Bathurst St from Town Hall not enough.

Lots of sharks, fun fish and sting rays. Of note when u reserve a time that really the time you go in. There are rotating information screens about the fish outside of each tank, wish there were more than one at each tank. It takes a while to get through each slide.
