They said it was a really cool way to spend 4 hours.. I thought there’s no way, I’ve never spent that long at any museum, I’ll be able to blast though this. I take it all back. We were there for a little over 4 hours and I’m still not even sure I saw it all. It’s awesome to see how people lived and worked on the ship. It’s a floating town. Very cool.

Great family attraction. Lots of information and very enthusiastic volunteers on hand to bring everything to life. There’s a lift up to the flight deck which is not to be missed. But remember this is a warship and as such does have steep steps and high door steps that will make it difficult for anyone with restricted mobility to fully explore the ship.

I was so impressed with the Midway Museum. Even our 15 year old grand daughter loved it. To walk in the shoes of sailors and pilots was quite the experience. We took our time and was there about four hours. Be prepared to go up and down a lot of steps. Wheel chairs are allowed, but you don’t get to go down into the belly of the ship with a wheelchair. The tour was laid out so you never got lost. I don’t know how sailors never got lost on that ship.
