Definitely recommend for first time visitors to Rome and/or older (or otherwise mobility changed) family members. 3/4 of us had never been to Rome, including my mom who is almost 80. She is very spry but this really allowed her to see the sights. The tour gives a great overview of the city and our guide, Giovanni, was absolutely superb. He is local and super knowledgeable about Rome’s history. Worth the time and money to do this your, book for your first full day.

Our driver was great, on the day of our Golf Cart tour it was raining buckets. He went our of his way to take care of us, dropping us at the end at a restaurant he suggested so we didn’t have to hike in the rain from the starting point

the driver took us to all the places we asked and he explained what we were seeing along the way. He was most informative and pleasant. We could not have asked for a better time. we received suggestions for ice-cream and dinner. Both worked out to be wonderful.

Sabrina shared her city with us in a way that was engaging and memorable. We experienced driving in the city in a way that allowed us to go to places we could not go to in a car. The cart allowed us to see a lot quickly and showed us how to return to places we wanted to spend more time. Sabrina also gave us some great recommendations for lunch and supper. We recommend Sabrina and this tour to get an excellent start to your Roman exploration!

We were early for our tour. unfortunately, the other couple that was supposed to be with us got confused and thought they were being picked up at their hotel. We wasted over an hour waiting for them or to hear what to do about them. Our tour guide tried to fill in with going around the park but it wasn’t the things we signed up to see. By the time we picked the other couple up and took them to a few places, our time was up. Our tour guide offered to take us to the things we expected to see but the golf cart quit working and we ended up having to go by metro and walk to see the Spanish steps, Trevi fountain and the Vatican. I felt like we didn’t get our money’s worth on this trip.

This was a really fun way to get the lay of the land. Plus, we got to see things that I never would have thought to go to. Beautiful viewpoints, hidden pockets of Trastevere to name a few. Perfect commentary with a very warm and informative guide – Giovanni. It was a highlight of my trip to Rome.

Our group of 4 took our golf cart ride with Sabrina who did a fabulous job. We were so thankful we went our first day in Rome because it gave us an excellent overview of the city. We were able to make other plans for our free time based on what we learned from Sabrina, who was so fun and knowledgeable. I highly recommend to EVERYONE!!!

Rome by Golf Cart is the best way to see the city. We were able to take side streets and avoid the extremely busy roads which was not only very very cool but very time effective as well. Our guide went with the flow and if we wanted to get out and spend more time, we could. We were a few minutes late due to being transported from the cruise terminal, but the guests we shared the ride with were so nice and didn’t mind waiting for us for a few minutes. The owner did state the he typically leaves people if they are not timely, so if you’re coming a far distance from the port like we did- keep that in mind. The lines for the attractions were LONG and we did not have the time to spend at each one so we definitely feel like we made the right call going with the golf cart tour! The sights that you want to see are not very close together making it rather unwalkable, especially with kids or older adults! Fantastic tour and would definitely recommend!
