A great tour. Our guide was off the hook good. He was so patience and his knowledge was super. He loved to take our pictures and knew the best spots. We got to the Mosque early and missed the huge bus groups with lots of cameras.
Lunch was at a mall and we really toured the all of Abu Dhabi. This is a MUST do tour.

I choose this tour because travelled so far to come to Dubai, so visiting Abu Dhabi was a no brainer. The plan was OK and having a private tour made a lot of sense to take advantage of the flexibility and exclusivity it brings. Unfortunately the guide they send me in Dubai did not seem fully knowledgeable of the Abu Dhabi city. They took us to the Sheikh Zayed Mosque, which was great, but after that lost time in a gallery that was a tourist trap for purchase of goods, then Heritage Village and Emirates Palace. By then we had plenty of time to do other things and ask about other historical sites or local market and the answer was none available, I believe he did not knew Abu Dhabi well. Ended losing few hours in the Marina Mall for lunch and the Ferrari which could you do nothing if not entering the park. To make matter worst the driver was pressing and releasing the gas pedal every 5 seconds, making the ride very uncomfortable. I ended up paying a lot of money for a private to make it special and it was a extremely weak experience. Would not recommend this company for their private tours.

Awesome day in Abu Dhabi! Great job by Orient Tours, and we couldn’t imaging a better guide than Mr. Mohamed Murasil. He shared his extensive knowledge of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and helped to make our visit an experience we will never forget. It is one of the most beautiful religious sites I have ever visited, and the experience was humbling. We also stopped at the Emirates Palace hotel for a short tour and enjoyed cappuccino and ice cream sprinkled with gold flakes! Overall great day visiting the mosque, hotel, Yas island, Sheikh Zayed library, Ferrari World, and viewing the impressive Abu Dhabi skyline.

We really enjoyed our day trip to Abu Dhabi. This tour provided our own tour guide and driver. The van was clean and comfortable. Our guide was excellent. She gave us a nice overview of the UAE on the hour plus drive to Abu Dhabi. The grand mosque tour was superb. Quite an incredible place. We also went to a heritage center and the Zayed Center. Saw the Lourve Abu Dhabi from the outside only. Stopped in at the Palace hotel for a quick peak at the gold leaf ceiling and the opulent fixtures. Really enjoyed our day and it was so nice having your own guide and driver.

Faisal was an excellent guide and took us around Abu Dhabi for the day as a day trip from Dubai. He made a special point to get us to the Grand Mosque early to avoid the crowds. This was the highlight of the day and he brought us there at the perfect time. He was knowledgeable and friendly so we highly recommend him.

Our guide, Saquib, made our tour well-worth the drive from Dubai. After picking us up at our Dubai hotel, Saquib used the 90 minute drive as an opportunity to explain UAE’s history, government structure, the different émérites, cultural protocols, agriculture, economy, and the differences between Abu Dhabi and Dubai (we asked). Our favorite stop was, not surprisingly, the Grand Mosque. Saquib timed our visits to the sites at hours when few visitors were present, which made our visit very special. He also explained the meaning of different structures and artwork. Even the outside marble is heat résistent to allow for daily prayers! Should you take this tour, women must wear long, non-see-through sleeves and pants. Women also must cover their heads. Should you come unprepared there are vendors outside of the mosque (in an internal mall) where you can purchase appropriate clothing. Men have more flexibility in dress, though they still need to dress conservatively (short sleeves and long shorts are fine, though most men wear pants).
