We could not have enjoyed this tour more!! The care and consideration put in every step along the way was evident! My extended family, 13 of us from North Carolina, US (ages from 10-75) visited Ephesus/Kusadasi as a stop on our recent cruise. We reserved the private 8 hour tour. Prior to, any questions we had regarding the tour were quickly answered by Ismail. The day of, we were met right at the port by our guide Fatima. Let me tell you, she was INCREDIBLE!! She was so kind, knowledgeable, and friendly! We truly appreciated her openness in answering our many questions and in her willingness to share her culture with us. She kept even our younger members engaged during the tour of Ancient Ephesus (a feat in and of itself) and coordinated the best time when we could see the House of the Virgin Mary without heavy crowds. We had an amazing lunch with a huge, delicious spread in a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. They even brought out additional items for a vegetarian family member when I forgot to coordinate this ahead of time. Fatima later took us to a 7th generation pottery shop and an authentic Turkish rug maker. These were out of the more touristy areas and you could tell the enhanced care and quality put into the items. Each were very welcoming and provided a demonstration for us. My sister even got to try her hand at making pottery! This company focuses on keeping things local. The best local guides, the best local restaurants and shops. Fatima, I cannot thank you enough. This was a highlight for my entire family, and we feel like we’ve made a new friend! Maybe we can visit again sometime 🙂

Today was simply wonderful. Our tour guide, Fatma Kuşcu, from here in Ephesus is certainly a gift to the touring industry but also to humanity in general. Smart, funny, polite, flexible and fun. We talked about family, life in Turkey, the world, our/her views and travel. Fantastic English speaker as well. We saw and experienced the Ephesus Ruins, House of the Virgin Mary, St. John’s Basilica and tomb, the Temple of Artemis and more great local food. We were also privileged to meet Cengiz Icten, a nearly 50 year archeologist and historian in the Ephesus ruins.

Fliz was the most beautiful amazing tour guide of all time. We had a group of 8 adults ranging from 21 to 54 and she had us all loving everything about Ephesus. We were from a cruise ship and she met us exactly on time with a great size mini bus which was very comfortable. Fliz spoke perfect English and her knowledge of our tour was outstanding. The limo van was clean and very comfortable. Nilgun was so knowledgeable about everything we asked her about from the flora to ancient history. She was just a delight and we could give her 10 stars. Our lunch was so much more than expected in a beautiful setting and an abundance of local dishes. The grilled chicken was outstanding. Very kind, patient and answered all of our questions, he took the time to show us and explain everything. We got to shop some. We got to see carpets being made, silk being extracted, and got a lovely lunch (we did have to pay separate for the lunch (10 euro) and all the tickets for the sites, fyi).
