Beautiful canyon, with plenty of photo opportunities. It was much longer than expected, but went by very quickly. Past the entry steps (ladders) the trail was easy for most. A few people struggled with some bigger steps and narrow passageways. Not a lot of canyon “history” but you can figure that out on your own, and a lot of people would rather enjoy the sights and sounds than have the constant drone of a tour guide. Just make sure you follow the rules. Especially about when to have your phone out, they’re there for your safety (and so you don’t drop your phone on the person below).

It was awesome, our guide Cedric was highly knowledgeable about the overall area and history. His family is directly form the Navajo reservation area so he brought a lot of great detail to his tour. He also showed us ways to take better pictures as well as taking pictures for the people in his group. Great guy, very down to earth! Such a beautiful area!

Tour guide, Sergio, was wonderful in offering to take pictures of our group and how to capture the best coloring in the canyon and show us special features throughout the canyon as we walked. He was patient and understanding with our kids. Would be nice to allot a small gap between groups so that we don’t get clumped together or stuck behind groups that are taking lots of pictures. Overall, wonderful experience and grateful to have been able to go for our memory Christmas with family visiting from out of the country.
