It was okay, I liked it because not a lot of tourists go on this particular tour yet. Still needs improvement, can’t wait for the said mueum to be built and open to the public! Traveling from/to Istanbul took most of the time to Cannakale Troy. Lunch food was also good, however, I was disappointed to know that we ate at a seafood restaurant but no seafood was served, I didn’t get why they offered a different set menu. set menu of meat, though I had the vegetarian set. Communicaiton with the local tour operator ran smoothly too.
The tour spends most of the time on the road. That wasn’t very clear for me when I booked. But the drivers and guides were very thoughtful, and despite of the heavy rain, I really enjoyed the day

I cannot possibly recommend this tour enough! I got very lucky and had a private tour today. Sükrü was phenomenal! He gave both the historical and mythological stories of this famous city, and did so in an engaging, and often humorous, way. He was able to keep all nine of the layers separate as we walked through so I could get a scope of the size of the different cities/eras that thrived on this site. He has a great understanding of the work being done here archaeologically. He’s also great at taking pictures! The operator – Crowded House Tours – is very responsive, and very helpful. They took great care of me today. It is a long drive, but the van was comfortable and there were stops to break it up. I would do this one again!

It’s not all about the Trojan Horse you should know your history as well it was a good educational tour who’s name is BURAK he’s so knowledgeable about the place and very friendly too. I’ve seen so many archeological sites in the world but this tour got my interest most.

I have read good reviews and bad reviews in this trip , so I am going to do my best to review it fairly
The cost £80 uk pounds , now for a whole day out let’s not expect the orient express that would cost you at least £650
Our large mini bus arrived , 10 minutes late but my Turkish girlfriend said that was good in Istanbul with all the traffic
We set off 07:15 am had a nap as the bus crawled through the city , woke a few times enjoyed the countryside before arriving at the garage restaurant which has been described as awful by some , it was fine better than expected , no it’s not the Ritz or a Michelin Restaurant but you not paid for that , it had a good selection I had Mini kofte with rice my partner a cheeseboard with salad , Turkish tea and a coffee it was about £10 for 2 excellent , the staff even bought hand wipes to our table
The shell shop had plenty we stocked up on snacks and drinks and it was back on the bus for the next part of the journey
Next it was about a 2 hour journey to where we took the ferry and also had lunch , lunch was your typical tour food , lentil soup, kebab rice chips and salad bottle or water melon to finish , it was none to exciting but edible and set you up for the next part of the trip
Transport to ferry , ferry crossing and one more mini bus and you arrive in Troy within the hour
Our guide had 20 years Troy experience and was very informative , there is not so much left of Troy but certainly enough and they continue to find more so it will continue to get better
Is it a long trip yes oh boy it is , but was it worth seeing Troy for me it was , if I ever did again I would do a 2 or 3 day trip and visit other areas of interest whilst I’m down there
It’s a hard trip lots of motorway so not much the tour guides can tell you , sleep rest enjoy Troy , food transport all basic but it does the job

The whole trip around Troy was awesome. It took less than 1 hour, but we learned a lot. I also enjoyed the ferry from Eceabat to Canakkale.
The bus trip from Istanbul is quite long, though. But one can enjoy great sea and mountain views.
One recommendation is about the breakfast/dinner break at a gas station. Don’t order anything fancy that will take too much time to finish.

The distance is toooooooo looking and there is nothing really wooow to see. The Troy’s horse is not available to see it (you can see my photos) and nobody told us about this. So 4 hours to go and 4 hours to return to see nothing… doesn’t really makes sense. Doesn’t worth it at all. The tour guides were AMAZING they tried their best to make the experience better.

トロイ遺跡は木馬の模型と瓦礫のみではっきり言って特にあっと言わせるような見所はないです。
しかし今回担当のガイドさんの説明がとても素晴らしくもう大満足です。行った甲斐がありました。トロイ遺跡の歴史、ギリシャ神話、チャナッカレの街の説明等々。全て英語ですがとても聞き取りやすかったです。
イスタンブールから片道5時間かかりました。途中フェリーにも乗りました。朝6時ホテルお出迎え、帰ってきたのは夜10時半でした。
食事はランチのみ費用に含まれてましたが、行きと帰りそれぞれサービスエリアのような所で30分休憩があり、自費で朝食と夕食を取ることができます。
ひとつ、リクエストがあるとすれば、車にWi-Fiとコンセント着けてほしかったです。
