We did a 3 nights Nile river cruise with Cupid and we had an amazing time. First of all, we were surprised to know that we would have an Egyptologist as our exclusive tour guide with great English speaking skills. Mick has an extensive knowledge about Egypt history besides having a great personality, he made whatever was possible to make us feel comfortable and happy. The cruise ship was quite comfortable and the crew was always kind. The food was good but the drinks were not included.
We would definitely book another tour with this company and recommend to everyone who wants to have a great time in Egypt.

I had an absolutely amazing time on the Nile River Cruise! Probably the highlight of my trip to Egypt, the staff were all very helpful and attentive and the food was great. New foods everyday for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The top deck was awesome for sightseeing and for relaxing at the pool.
Perhaps the best aspect of the cruise, however, was my guide Ramses! I took several other guided tours during my Egypt trip and he was by far the best! Very informative, extremely helpful, funny and overall just a really great guy and guide! I would definitely recommend Ramses without hesitation, he was great!

Ismail Haroun was our tour guide for the 4 day 3 night trip. He was very experienced and well versed in managing groups and tours, and knowledgeable with everything Egypt. Ghada Kamel was my assigned personal guide in Luxor East (I started a day behind on the 4 day trip and finished alone). She was also experienced and a knowledgeable Egyptologist. No problems understanding the English of either of my guides, and would recommend both. Now is a perfect time to go to Egypt – the tourism crowds are somewhere around 25% of the usual, if basing it purely on boat tour numbers.

Ramzy was our guide during our 3 night 4 day nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan. We had him as a private guide in Luxor the first day, and Aswan the third day, and as part of a group second day. He was very accommodating to change the schedule for our interests, like adding a trip to the Nubian village or skipping the Aswan high dam. He also helped us get a PCR covid test for the next part of our trip by calling the lab ahead of time, joining us as a translator, and helping to receive the results. As a guide he was very knowledgeable of the Egyptian history and temples, and always gave us some time at the end of his explanations to explore the area on our own. Our favorite site was Karnak Temple in Luxor with the gorgeous inscribed columns in the morning.

Este itinerario es mentira, al menos en la salida en domingo. Escogimos este tour exclusivamente porque permitía estar un día y medio en Luxor. Pero no: nos hicieron hacer todas las visitas de Luxor antes de las 14h porque el crucero se iba. La agencia adelantó la hora de inicio con una excusa (se necesitan al menos 7 horas para verlo todo corriendo) pero no dio ninguna explicación sobre el cambio de itinerario hasta que reclamamos y aún así siguieron diciendo mentiras. Venden lo que no tienen, captan al turista y lo derivan al tour que les interesa a ellos, sin decírtelo para que te no puedas buscar alternativas…no utilicéis esta agencia!

The cruise we were meant to be on happened to be overbooked and there was no room for us. A different cruise was arranged but was quite far from Luxor centre so we didn’t get the chance to explore the markets in the evening. It felt like we were a bit of an afterthought on this second cruise as everyone else was on a separate tour group/itinerary. However the manager was really apologetic and offered us a lovely lunch. Ghada, our guide, was lovely, helpful and informative. I would say that the whole experience is definitely good value for money considering that all the transfers and all meals were included (our cruise had breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner -drinks excluded). I really liked the fact that the guide always left us some extra time to roam around the sites and take pictures.

No se cumplió con el itinerario que figuraba en el tour, nos recogieron en el aeropuerto después de una noche sin dormir por el viaje para hacer el recorrido en Luxor con muchas prisas en las visitas ya que el barco (en el itinerario no decía nada) que el barco salía de Luxor a las 2:30pm, estaba muy cansado aún así al parecer no importó. Al día siguiente el recorrido estuvo bien.
Housekeeping presionaba todos los días por la propina, no funciona la caja de seguridad tampoco el minibar.
En resumen, creo que tendrían que replantearse la opción de cambiar de operador, deficiencia en el idioma.

This company took good care of us and made everything smooth and easy. Our guide, Mohamed, was friendly and made it fun; his recommendations for extras, like paying up to see the tomb of Ramses VI in the Valley of Kings, were clutch, and I even got into the drama and storylines of Egyptian mythology, something I knew nothing about previously. We really appreciated that Mohamed briefed us on proper backsheesh before we went into experiences. The other people in our group were friendly and fun as well. The boat was nice enough, the food was good enough, and I’d give the experience on the whole 5 stars.

We had been enjoying the Nile Cruise very much. The staff in the Cruise were lovely and friendly. The tour were well arranged and we enjoyed Sun rise and Sun set in the up deck of the cruise. Some local tour guides were excellent. We had notice that there are very different levels among tour guides. It all depends on the luck of the draw.
