If seeing the Redwoods has been on your bucket list, like it was mine, definitely take this tour! The redwood forest is just breathtaking. And the town of Sausalito is so charming! We ate at Spinnaker in Sausalito, which I also highly recommend for it’s beautiful, setting and view. That restaurant recommendation came from our amazing bus driver/tour guide, who knew so much information about the area and its history and its current state of affairs! The whole trip was entertaining from start to finish. We opted for the ferry return, which is super super easy, and just beautiful to be on the water and seeing all the sights from that perspective. The ferry ride is only about 20 to 25 minutes so it’s probably even a little shorter than the bus. Also… If you change your mind and decide to take the bus back after you told them you were taking the ferry that’s no problem you could just jump on the bus, but you won’t have as much time in Sausalito, as if you take the ferry back.

Bus smelled awful! Seats had greasy handprints and the whole bus smelled of pee. The tour itself would’ve been nice but having to ride in a small bus that smelled like pee has been all over it made it awful.

Such a fun trip! Our tour guide was knowledgeable about San Francisco, Muir Woods and Sausalito. A great half day trip to enjoy nature and sight see! We got the bike rental after as well. I personally want more time in Muir Woods on my next visit!

The tour was carefully organized with stops at the Golden Gate Bridge North Vista Point, Muir Woods, and Sausalito. Muir Woods are difficult to reach from SF unless you rent a car, so this is probably the easiest way. The stop in Sausalito was a bit too short but we could have returned by Uber/Lyft or taken the ferry. Overall, I highly recommend

The Muir woods is so beautiful and Serene. If I did it again I would do the first tour at 7:40am, stay is Sausalito longer, and take the ferry back to San Francisco. Sausalito was beautiful. Make sure to stop by Lamppert’s for Ice cream

This was an excellent tour – the tour guide was excellent. Very organised and knowledgeable. I had a great trip, although this trip is probably over-priced given it primarily involves transport + entry to the woods which is cheap anyway.

Walk through the woods was very peaceful. The time at each stop was adequate. The pick up and drop off locations were convenient.

It was a very beautiful day and we enjoyed our morning at Muir Woods Memorial Park. Before we entered the park the bus driver gave us a history and instruction in where to go. Once in the park we were amazed of the beauty and happy that we made the trip. It is will worth it!!

Beautiful tour. Great history along the way. I would definitely recommend as a half day trip when visiting San Francisco

Going past bridge 2 was eye opening! I really enjoyed the different redwoods and Douglas firs. The streams of water were soothing, and I will definitely recommend this trip by bus or ferry to a friend.

My parents had nothing but great things to say about the tour. They also mentioned the tour guide was very informative

The Muir Woods were just what we needed after a couple of days in San Francisco and the ferry ride back was icing on the cake.

It was a beautiful day for a hike at Muir Woods. We really appreciated how easy and convenient the entire process was, including not having to worry about driving to Muir Woods and dealing with advanced parking reservations. As for Sausalito, we took advantage of the recommendations that the guide/bus driver provided (Joe), which were great – fish tacos and ice cream! We would definitely recommend this tour to our family and friends. Thank you!

The woods were so peaceful, especially where you can hear the water running in the streams. I would definitely recommend this tour to everyone!

Tour was great, with additional stops included. The highlight was the Muir Woods, were we had almost 2hrs for hiking. Then at Sausalito the Tour Guide recommended us a nice mexican restaurant for lunch (Copita) which was great. The only thing that I’d recommend to improve was to clean the Bus interior

Enjoyable day. The process went very smooth, my only complaint would be that we did not have enough time to explore at the park. My recommendation would be to book the ferry, that way you can spend a lot more time in Sausalito.

it was a lovely half day , worth the money , I did find the guide a little hard to understand , but answered any questions and was really nice , the trees where amazing ! i found the town of Sausalito a little dull to my tastes, the ferry trip back was nice good view of the bridge and ” The Rock ” worth the money !

It was amazing. Our driver was knowledgeable about the area and gave us so many interesting facts. Great tour and would do it again!

Absolutely memorable and super fantastic! It started raining before the tour began but that did not hinder me or anyone else from having a great time at the Golden Gate Bridge, Muir Wood or Sausalito.
WELL WORTH IT!

The driver/tour guide was excellent. He was very knowledgeable of the Muir Woods and the area of California around the national monument.
