A wonderful day with Radj. This guide is about benevolence, patience and sharing. He always took the time to explain to me the different places we were going to. Beyond a tourist activity, it was a real moment of exchange, communion and understanding. Many thanks to Radj for this day rich in immersion.

We were picked up on time by Deepak. All in all, a very nice tour with a pleasant mixture of exciting information, private small talk, but also enough time for two. There was enough time at each stop. The exception here is Port Louis. You can either save yourself the stop or spend a little more time and save time elsewhere. During the day, however, you don’t have the feeling of rushing, but really exploring the country. An authentic Mauritian restaurant was suggested to us for lunch. The restaurant was the contact point for a large number of tourists who spend a similar tour (presumably the restaurant and the tour operator work together). However, the food was very tasty, we paid the equivalent of around €40 for 2 people. Overall, we really enjoyed the tour and would recommend it. Deepak answered all of our questions, was very personable and gave us a great day.

The Instagram Tour is also not suitable for those who are not familiar with Instagram. It shows the most important spots in one day, which is especially good if you don’t spend too many days in Mauritius. However, we think the tour is a bit overrated, since the botanical garden in Pampelmousse, for example, doesn’t look like it does in the pictures and the lilies look very battered. Umbrella Square in Port Louis could also be a save to see these 20 umbrellas. The guide, Deepak, was able to explain and describe a lot to us. He was very accommodating and nice. Overall, the tour is recommended because, as already mentioned, you can see all the sights in one day.
