We enjoyed visiting the two castles and seeing the countryside. The tour guide was great! I only wish we had more time to walk around Vianden. They said we had two hours to walk around Vianden, visit the castle, etc. We only had time to visit the castle and when we left after 90 minutes, the bus was right at the entrance of the castle vs at the original drop off location. I had hoped to walk around the city and maybe grab a snack before leaving.

Great itinerary, however would have been good to start at 8am/8.30am as there are a lot of activities back-to-back and that left no time for a lunch break at an appropriate time. As a result of the tight activites, we ended up having to cut a guided tour short at Echternacht (which we felt bad) as we were all starving and chose to get lunch (3.30-4pm). It would also help if the tour guide / driver could speak more fluent English as at times it was difficult to communicate and understand key points.

Overall, this was a very good tour and a great way to see several beautiful sights while staying in Luxembourg. The vehicle was very comfortable, and I loved the huge windows. My biggest disappointment was the audio guide. While between stops, we were given earbuds to listen to an audio guide. The guide only played information about 5-10% of the time, and there was no way to know when the information was coming up, so you had to keep earbuds in waiting for those little morsels of information, or just give up on the audio guide. Once at the destinations, we were met by guides who were wonderful. There was a bit of confusion about the pick-up location at the Vianden stop which could have been planned better, and it would have been nice to receive restaurant recommendations for lunch. However, my overall experience was excellent, and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to spend a day seeing beautiful sites outside of Luxembourg City.
