The trip was amazing! First time seeing snow and it didn’t disappoint. Our tour guide Shane was fabulous, funny, friendly, Knowledgeable and patient. It was a good balance of experiences, the bakery was a nice stop along the way, as were the falls and the chocolate shop and I’ve creamery. The ice cream scoops are enormous! Bear this in mind when ordering. The chocolate is delicious.
The scenery on the way to Lake Mountain is absolutely stunning!
Hiring the gear on the mountain is expensive, but worth it. We hired pants and boots, definitely recommend, also toboggans.
We didn’t know our way around and stayed in the one spot. There may have been more to the resort so a map would have been handy. For experienced skiers who know their way around it would be great I’m sure.
There were no ski lessons on the day we went which was disappointing, however we filled the whole 3 hours playing in the snow and tobogganing. We had the best time and highly recommended this tour!

Great day away from the city, Peter our driver/tour guide was friendly, funny & provided great commentary along the way. Unfortunately the snow on Lake Mountain was very minimal due to previous days weather but the walk up to the summit was well worth the trip. The stop of at the falls again worth it beautiful spot & the falls were in full flow great photo opportunities. Then on to chocolate what more could you want & again beautiful spot…try the ice cream it’s amazing & if you manage to eat it all (huge serving) your a champion

The beautiful drive through the forests and up to the Lake Mountain resort was so scenic, a lot of information about the history of the area was given too which was very interesting. We had heaps of time up on the mountain to ski, and for our stops at Healesville bakery and the waterfall, did not feel rushed at all and really got to enjoy everything. And of course the Chocolaterie was a great end to the day 🙂 Our tour guide Shane was great and very accommodating to everyone!

The bus trip up to the mountain was great, the tour driver Peter was very informative, we stopped at Beechworth Bakery for morning tea, then we went to the mountain which was beautiful, we had raining ice drops, wind, snow it was 3 hours of good fun and cold 🥶. We went down to Stevenson Falls, that was lovely then on to The Yarra Valley Chocolatier for yummy chocolates and ice cream before returning back home. The entire day was brilliant and we thoroughly enjoyed it as visitors from Perth WA.

This trip was very well planned , everything was just perfect , Our Guide Mr Shane is knowledgeable and was sharing lots of insight/stories/fact on the Drive. ..and play list of Olivia-Newton John was just perfect , followed by John Denver (Requested by me) . I got a chance to catch up with Shane in our breaky , He is such a wonderful soul , and ensure everyone is comfortable and enjoying the trip.

I’ve worked in the travel industry for 20 years and this is hands down one of the best tours I’ve ever done. The itinerary was well put together but Brit our tour guide made our day. She was super friendly, informative, witty, an absolute gem of a human. I did this tour with my 7 yo.son and we both had a blast. The tobogganing was perfect for smaller kids and families and Brit made sure everyone had a carrot to make the obligatory snow man (nice touch thanks Brit). We actually live in Melbourne but booked this tour for some social interaction and it didn’t disappoint. I would do any tour that Brit was running, can’t rate her highly enough.
TIPS FOR TRAVELLERS- take your stuff of the bus and hire a locker. Oh and bring spare warm clothes!

Our trip to Lake Mountain and Yarra Valley was amazing! We are from Adelaide and have been to Lake Mountain years ago but decided to do a tour this time. I am very happy with our choice to choose this tour. Our bus broke down in the first hour of the trip which was unfortunate but it was dealt with extremely well by all on board. It actually wasn’t such a bad thing as it meant we found a shopping centre we never knew existed. They brought out another bus and we didn’t lose any time for activities. Britt our tour guide was the perfect embodiment of Australian culture and exactly what I would want if I was an international traveller. The time spent on each activity was the perfect amount and she provided us with relevant tips and facts. The only thing I would change is having her talk more during the bus ride about the surrounding area. I am celiac and all of the places that we went to had really good gluten-free options. Overall a great trip and would definitely recommend!

from the start, ride going there was very smooth. althought some rides were closed due to bad weather but still worth to go. the snow slide was fun. i enjoyed sliding with my kids. the stop at the yarra chocolate was very good too.
