A wonderful trip. The trip was also bearable with about 2 hours and went around pretty quickly. The stay there was simply fantastic. On Fridays the beach is really empty. Not even 100 people. It was just pleasant.

The trip was nice, the tour guide was great on checking on us and explaining everything in great detail. Falasarna beach is beautiful and very family friendly. They had plenty of beach chairs with umbrellas, which was great on such a hot sunny day in July.

The tour is a tourist trap, not worth the money. You basically pay 45€ just for the hotel pickup and drop-off. You anyways have to pay additional 15€ for the entrance fee to the Knossos Palace (and you have to stand in line with all the others, it‘s not like tours get priority entrance). The guided tour through the Knossos Palace was okay, and this 1 hour tour was also actually the only part that was done in German – so if you don’t speak English, definitely don’t book this, as everything else will be in English.
The Minoan Farm we visited was super cute and has amazing local products, it was our highlight of the day and the only reason for the 2 stars, otherwise it would have been less. As for Heraklion, the „guided tour“ through Heraklion was a bit of a joke and you don’t actually have time to see anything in Heraklion.
