Bruno our guide was fun not to mention A wonderful guide! He explained and showed us everything possible! We also stopped for a delicious lunch that was all farm fresh and fresh caught fish! Highly recommend this tour and especially ask for Bruno as your guide!

This is a good tour even if you are not a “Godfather” fanatic. You drive into the mountains and see what “small town” life is like . There are magnificent views everywhere . Tour included a nice lunch at a local resturant where many families were having Sunday dinner

Marco picked us up from our Catania accommodation he provided two water bottles which we were so appreciative of plus he gave us a bag of oranges from his tree (unfortunately my husband left them behind husband was told off!) such a beautiful gesture. First stop was Savoca – Marco’s knowledge of the Godfather movies was outstanding, along the way he provided excerpts from the movie showing the scenes from Bar Vitelli and the church where Michael and Apollonia were married. We went inside this beautiful Chiesa – and we actually felt like we were part of the movie when we walked back down towards Bar Vitelli . Marco also provided really interesting information about the actress who portrayed Apollonia and Francis Ford Coppola. We stopped at Bar Vitelli (Savoca) for a coffee and the most delicious Italian sweet treat of a ricotta filled cannula shell which originated on the island of Sicily. Forza d Agro was next and Marco took us to the square beside the church where a significant part of movie took place whereby Michael Corleone was hidden inside a pack on the donkey. Marco then asked if we would like to walk to the highest point in Forza d Agro up these beautiful old, winding cobblestones streets that had amazing old Italian small villas some abandoned, some restored. The view when we reached the top was outstanding there was also a very ancient Roman castle built around 1117. Marco also provided lots of information about Taormina. We would love to come back during the spring. We really felt we knew Marco and his family, his mama and her cooking sounds amazing. To sum up Marco deserves a pay rise he is AWESOME!! Con amore Adriena & Craig Smith

Godfather Private Tour from Catania – Savoca, and Forza D’Agro was the best experience I had with my son. This July 2021 my son gave me the best present I ever had, it was his gift for my 60th birthday. He took me to Sicily and Italy. I never expected a tour of my dream, my favorite movie in my life – The Godfather, he set up this tour with a private guide, the guide was just wonderful. As we drove there with him, he drove us through St. Theresa Riva, Forza D’Agro, and Savoca. He explained every area that the film was recorded, he had the film on his phone as he explained. I loved every minute of the tour. It was just wonderful.
My dream came true, viewing and being in the same site the Godfather was filmed. I will always remember it.
The lunch and dinner/wine were just great “delicioso” and the trip “bellisimo”.

Savoca and Forza d’Argo are very memorable villages with a lot of special spots from the Godfather films. A must-do for Godfather fans.

We spent a great day touring Savoca and environs with Fabio, who was absolutely fab! Great knowledge, personality and communication skills – he’s from the area and knows people and places that other guides likely don’t, and has an encyclopedic knowledge of The Godfather. Saw some extra interesting places on the way to and from, such the Abbazia dei Santi Pietro e Paolo d’Agro’ church and Taormina. Toured from mid-morning through most of the afternoon, had the lunch and wine option, which was tasty, generous, and served at a local sport with super friendly proprietors. We went in late May and it was a bit hot already – since plenty of walking is involved, we recommend booking late afternoon and early evening during the warm weather months – trust us.

The entire tour was our “best” experience! The guide, Maurizio, has to be one, if not your best. The history and knowledge of his beautiful country & culture makes you love it as much as he does. The tour definitely exceeded our expectations! Would highly recommend.
