The landscape is stunning. The service on board is very well organized. The only negative point to comment on was the overbooking that MarPatag detected the day before. But the activity on board more than paid off. In particular the attention of the guide Mariana. We are a long distance from the Upsala glacier, but as reported it is for safety reasons. Even so, I could get a sense of its size.

What a great day out, a must if you come to El Calafate, the who experience is worth every penny. From pick up first thing in the morning to return, they are first class. Guides in English and Spanish, and the lunch is also very good. I can’t praise this company enough, thanks for a memory that will last a lifetime, and memories are what life is all about!!

A good experience if you aren’t planning on doing the Moreno ice trek. We did both and feel that the cruise was too long and confined. We would have preferred spending an extra day in Chalten. Boats are restricted from getting within 5km or so from the Upsala glacier and not worth the stop in my opinion. Spegazzini was ok and the perspective from up close at Moreno was interesting but it takes so long to get between them all. The Lago views are spectacular though. The tour took about 9 hours without transfers to Calafate.
