Good for a visit, easy parking and excellent cafe, helpful staff and great exhibits.
Only negative is why the runway is screened off from cafe and lawn area so you cannot see departing/landing aircraft without going upstairs to the viewing area, which is quite small, or peering through rips in screens. Probably some dumb bureaucratic reason even though cars can park at end of runway 100 metres away!
But other than that its well worth a visit.

We have visited twice now and have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves both times. We also love that it is right next to Airforce and Airport so we can enjoy the experience of watching the planes taking of and landing as well as The Airforce practising manoeuvres.

Fun for all levels of interest. If you are not into reading all the detailed history there are short videos or you can go out to observation deck and watch the Hawks or F35’s land n take off.
