There was no need to show a PCR test to enter Oman, so we decided to take this trip.
A good way of spending a full day in a complete different and natural scenario.
The cruise staff is very nice and professional. Food is good, considering that we are in boat without kitchen. It was warm enough and we had plenty to eat.
The proposed activities are very nice we all had a great time, swimming, canoeing, etc.
It toped up our adrenaline in the banana ride. Great fun
Pity that we saw no dolphins.
It is certainly worth doing

Advice 😁 for all who like swiming in crystal water. Intresting water adventure witk kayaking and waterbanane
Hannah_J –
There were only 7 on our trip. Which was ideal! Apparently on some tours there have been 75 which wouldn’t be as good.
The food was good and the staff attentive. The activities were well timed and fun

This adventure was so fun. We were picked up and driven to Oman and then played in the water and on a boat for a while. A little out of my comfort zone because I was confused at the bus transfer but still good. I snorkeled, swam, ate, fished, saw fish, kayaked, etc
The drive back was VERY long tho! They have to drop everyone off in different spots and it took twice as long as the way there. Not the best organizing. I was happy to see another country and have this experience but the drive was SO long. Four hours! It’s not the staff’s fault tho. Just something to be aware of.

Do not waste your time and money. What is described as a full day of water fun is in fact 7-8 hrs on a bus, with a 2.5 hr water “experience” . There driver that picked us up drove so unsafe, speeding, tailgating, flashing lights at other drivers etc. Adventurous start!! The white Sandy beach is a sand and shell smelly mess, which you can’t put your feet on. We got dropped of, and then left there to swim ourselves back to the boat, 400 meters into the sea, with kids. One Kayak to share between 19 people. One tour participant used it for the duration of our visit, so none else got time. Snorkeling is a joke, with GREEN water which you can’t see more than 1.5 meters in, and you floating in 10+ Meter water. No Fish, no coral, no sea life, so no snorkeling experience. Equipment smelled like vomit. So called fishing is with hand-line, for 16 or so minutes on the way back. The speed boat, is well more a flat-bottom boat with some “speed” The so called tour guide speaks hardly any English. When we raised our concerns, we where told we participated so we “enjoyed it” . Funny that would have concerns and enjoy something without knowing it. STAY FAR FAR AWAY from this, I never write reviews but have to on this one.

The boat was very clean and the ride to the boat was comfortable. The staff were extremely considerate and accommodating. The food on the boat was delicious and local cuisine. The location where we swam was breathtakingly beautiful. The water was a majestic aqua blue and there were weird fish in the water so I wasn’t scared to stay in the water. We truly loved our experience a d would both highly recommend the tour to our friends aw well as take the tour again. The only issue was that there was way too much gasoline from the boats in the water. Boats should stay further away from the beach.

Absolutely fantastic day trip, not sure why this gets some 1 star reviews. Would definitely recommend it and would do it again. Got to go to the beach, kayak, a speedboat ride, a shot on the banana boat, snorkel and even a bit of fishing. Also a brilliant lunch and the staff were great! Constantly offering free drinks and snacks and just friendly in general.

BEAUTIFUL clear water and GREAT staff! Had a great experience, loved the decore of the boat and the fresh fruit and Indian lunch buffet. We snorkeled (just a heads up NO coral), got on the banana boat , took a speed boat to the beach, there was also kayak and fishing available (did not personally partake in that). Only complaint was the description of the itinerary, as we we we under the impression that there would be 2 snorkel spots & dolphin watching as written, but that is not the case.

Come with an open mind and a spirit of adventure and leave with a memorable experience. It is a bit of a long drive and crossing a border brings the potential for delays but with the right crowd even a long bus ride can be a blast. The food on the cruise was delicious and plentiful. The water activities were so much fun! I would do it again!

If you have several days in Dubai, it is highly recommended to take this trip, it is completely a relaxing day, and you can take advantage of it to visit another country, the food and the excellent service. If you go with children there is a lot of fun.

The boat ride was nice and the food was very good however the trip r/t from dubai was very uncomfortable the coach was old dirty and small and the host and employees were not very friendly
Thomas_K –
I would not recommend this tour. for a total of more than 7 hours on the road there and back with bus and customs clearance? in addition there is the shipping of 2-3 hours. I think you can use the time better. the destination also leaves a lot to be desired. the price in relation to the effort would be right. On the other hand, the staff were very friendly and helpful. great praise.

The tour was really good. So it begins with someone picking you up from the hotel and then you drive for about 45 min and wait at a gas station. Then a larger bus shows up and you get on that.
About 1.5 hours later you reach the border. Border crossing was super easy and with as many people that were on the bus, it went surprisingly fast.
Once you are in Oman you head to the docks and get on the boat. The ride across the sea was smooth and relaxing. It was nice to just sit back and drink tea and enjoy the sun.
We arrived in the cove and they did speed boat tours and people swam. After about an hour they did lunch. The food was really good.
On the way back they stopped so you could fish, but the swells were too large and the boat was rocking too much. Nothing we could do about that!
Then we returned. Overall I’m so glad I did this tour. For the price it was well worth it. The staff were friendly and the boat was comfy. The only negative was the bus seats were a bit stiff and my booty was getting numb after a while on the ride home.
10/10 would do this tour again

Thought I’d leave a review to balance out some of the negative ones. I’ll preface by saying I was perplexed at how negative some of the reviews for this trip and similar ones are. If you’re a non-spoiled, reasonable traveler, you’ll have a great time. It’s a bit of a drive (approx 2 hours from the last pick-up). Yes you might be unlucky with when you are picked up, as with any trip, which could extend travel time. Yes, you are crossing an international border outside the European Union, it can take some time. And yes, the organisation of the trip as a whole is Middle Eastern ie slightly chaotic. But all in all, I expected a whole lot worse given the reviews. The minibus was spacious, clean, and on time. The boat was clean, spacious, verging on very comfortable, and there was plenty of time to partake in various activities. The lunch was a decent buffet. The border crossing wasn’t too bad, it went smoothly, of course the border guards were upset for no reason, but that’s just the way it is. All in all a great day out and a great way to check off another country and/or see a nice fjord-like peninsula in the Middle East.

Good experience, but didn’t actually go where I thought the tour went based on the tour description. Otherwise it was a good experience to at least be able to get to Oman.

We had a fabulous time and the tour guides were great. They encouraged everyone to get into the water. Food/snacks were great too and we even made some new friends. A great way to see the Arabian Fjords- highly recommended!

Very nice but intensive trip (cause it’s all-day long). The driver and staff on the boat were amazing, very kind, helpful, polite, I can easily claim that it was their absolute priority to do everything it takes for guests to enjoy the trip. First we drove from Dubai to Sultanate of Oman and then continue our trip on their traditional boat, sitting on the oriental pillows and carpets. The scenery was beautiful (see the pictures), food was very tasty and there was lots to choose from, the weather was amazing, water and beaches very nice! Definitely recommend!

We were surprised and disappointed by the organisation and the services provided, for the following reasons:
– overcrowded boat (it was advertised we would be max 25 people – other participants were guaranteed the maximum number of participants would be 15), we were over 50 and most of these people did not know how to swim which could have been extremely dangerous
– no loungers for everybody (my friend and I sat on pillows)
– no explanation as to what we were seeing, no schedule
– we did not at all swim in the caves (we quickly saw one from afar)
– we stopped very far from the actual canyon and did not even see it (clearly we did not see what was in the advertisement pictures)
– kayaking activity was not possible because there was only one kayak
– there were no clear instructions on how to properly dress for this tour, considering that more than three quarters of the participants dressed conservatively and it was unpleasant to walk among the people staring at us dressed in our bikinis; had we known we would have opted for a different outfit;
– drop off was very badly organized, we spent over two hours in the traffic jams in Dubai, which could have been avoided if we had been dropped off in the reverse order.
