Why would you want to do this journey on our own? They do all the driving for you, so all you need to do is to relax, enjoy the scenery and hear about all the wonderful local stories and history about the special places and people that you visit. The drivers are great characters too! Well worth the money.

The trip was really great and is highly recommended. What we would like to say is that it was far too cold in the bus, most of them were freezing and that the bus driver talked too much. 3 hour bus ride and he talked without taking a breath. Nothing bad in itself, but I’m less interested in his private life.. His singing performances were funny but also just too much. in short, the driver was a little tiring. I would do the trip again and again 🙂

Despite difficulties with part of the route being washed away our driver, Tanya, did everything she could to make our trip as interesting as possible. Sand boarding was a real highlight but the information about Māori culture and the sights we saw made the trip much more than just an activity.
