Ran was the best guide ever! He made of the trip the most amazing of our vacations in Thailand. We asked to have him in the rest of our excursions and luckly we had him also the following day to James Bond island.
Cheow Lan is a magical place in nature. Lunch was the best we had in quality, and the place (floating hotel in the lake) was stunning!
Would repeat this trip again without a doubt, and recommend everyone to do it =)

If you ever get tired of the beaches this is a must do day-trip. It’s a bit on the expensive side, but if you have the budget for it you’ll get to experience some of the most breathtaking views Thailand has to offer. The limestone cliffs on the Cheow San Lake is worth it on it’s own. We had Ran as our guide, great guy! If we had more time in Khao Sok we would probably spent more time at the lake and done som trekking through the jungles.
