First of all: A day in Santorini is stressful, but it is enough to get a first impression of this beautiful island. The crossing from Heraklion is comfortable, arriving Santorini around 10:20, bus transfer to Oia around 45 minutes, so arriving there around 11:15. Then 1:45 h stay, so a short walk through the place and time for a few photos. From there around 1:00 p.m. to Fira (arrival around 1:30 p.m.) and stay there for a good 2 hours for lunch, stroll through the city and on the promenade of the Caldera. Around 16:00 return to the port and back to Heraklion. Tightly scheduled, but if you don’t expect too much and don’t stress yourself, you can spend a nice day here.

This is possibly the prettiest place I have ever been, and I am well travelled. Tour was well organised. Guide was well versed. Only suggestion I would have is more time in oia and dropping The main town Turia as it is busy and not as pretty. Definitely do the volcano tour!

A good way to visit santorini the most beautiful greek island from the ridge. The boat trip offered at an additional cost to the hot springs of the volcano is a must! Good freshness. Appreciated! The visit of the 2nd is much more touristic (more shops and restaurants) The 1st village is that of the postcards, more authentic.
