Our guide Julie was informative, chatty and very personable. Her knowledge of the vineyards and the area was exceptional. She made it an inclusive experience for all on the minibus by engaging us in conversation. I thought she was also a good driver and I felt quite safe.
The visit to St Emillion has been on ‘our list’ for sometime and did not disappoint us in the least. The tour of the wineries and the wine tasting was quite exceptional to see the new and old ways of working. The vineyards expert who showed us round (Audrey) spoke excellent English and obviously knew her stuff. A great afternoon and a beautiful location.

Our guide, Luigi, was superb. We were a group of 6 women and he handled us really well. So knowledgeable on wine and the industry. Lots of information on the way which meant we got more from our trip. The visit was the right amount of time and we felt we had seen a lot. Absolutely loved the scent game on the way back. Would definitely recommend!

Our guide was excellent. Really friendly and interested in the group. I was in the back of the van but could hear him chatting to the couple in the front and was genuinely interested in the conversation. We were feeling very bad after as we had no cash for a tip.
At the chateau it was quite quick walking round the grounds and into the barrel room. They were busy at work so this might be why it was so quick. It would have been great to see in more of the buildings there. The tasting was good and the shop lovely, although doing the tasting at the chateau would have been even better.
The village of st emilion was beautiful. Lovely walking around and not too long on the guided one but enough to point out the key features and to give us time to look around. We had a little walk then had some lunch and drinks and it was enough time. The village was the highlight for most of our group on our holiday.
Also big shout out to our guide who took some fantastic pictures.
