We were actually expecting a snorkeling trip but it turned out to be just beach sunbathing. The trip started at 6, the whole picking up people took one hour so we left Bangkok at 7. The transport took around 2 hours with a 20min stop somewhere in the middle between Bangkok and Pattaya. After reaching Pattaya we right away took the speed boat for around 20min and got to Coral Islands. The water was amazing and relaxing, however with no fishes, what we expected to see during the snorkeling tour. Over there one could book other small tours upon extra charge from other providers. We stayed around 4 hours at beach before heading back to Pattaya. In our group, there are people whose package included a trip to a wooden temple. You can book ad hoc or choose to wait till the temple tour is finished. Getting back to Bangkok would be around 7:30pm. For us, it was simply a trip to the beach on that day. The guide Sunday was very friendly and helpful.

This tour was really great. I was in Bangkok for work and wanted to escape to the beach for a day, without the hassle of planning it. This trip was a great way to be able to enjoy the beach (although it’s very touristy and lots of rubbish :-(( ), see a great lookout and the sanctuary was one of the most impressive buildings I’ve ever seen!

Really enjoyed this tour. Pickup was a bit confusing as our email said both a 6am and 7am pickup but we messaged the company on WhatsApp and got an answer quickly. The speedboat ride was fun and relaxing on the beach was nice but the beach was FULL of rubbish so if you’re expecting a beautiful beach to swim in this was not it. The sanctuary of truth was beautiful, we chose not to go in but spent the hour looking at it from the viewpoint at a cafe so lots to do if you don’t want to pay to go in. We ended up getting back quite late due to bad Bangkok traffic so keep that in mind too. Overall a great day out!
