Trip was great and the guide was great. Could do with better/more info on pick up and meeting points. We didn’t know if we were in a pick up zone so followed instructions for meeting point. Would have helped if the BTS was written in full as we didn’t know this was the train station. However as we had a phone number our guide was able to meet us.

The tour was very nice and relaxed. we got picked up from the hotel and first we stopped at Maeklong Train Station to see the market on the railways. we spend there around 1h, we ate something and then head to a buddhist temple. after this the next stop was the floating market at Amphawa where we could spend 1h on our own, eating and shopping. the food there was cheap and tasty. at around 6pm we went for a boat ride to see fireflies. it was magical. overall was a great tour. Our guide, Koi was knowledgeable and friendly.

A highly recommended experience! It’s one thing to visit these places by yourself, but with the guide it’s another world. Our guide Angie took an excellent care of us, explained what the things on the stalls are, told us historical facts and just really made it a fun journey. I liked the train market the most, it’s amazing how many things happen at once in such a small place. The temple in the tree roots was also super cool, Angie got us sets for making a prayer/wish, and we got to gold-plate Buddha statue. A word of advice, save one of those golden papers until you are inside the temple, so you can put it on the main sculpture.
