Our tour guide was very informative with a great sense of humor and kept the crowd engaged. Was fortunate that they also supplied skirts for the women, as some were not aware that pants are not acceptable attire for women to enter monasteries. A very full day with plenty of amazing photo opportunities, and guides also quick to help capture an awesome picture for you.

My friends and I absolutely loved this tour! Katalina was excellent, and she is passionate about this job! She shared beautiful and inspiring stories with us that related to the tour. She also was the most admirable and sweetest tour we have ever had (and we have had many tour guides from traveling through Europe). The other people in our group were relatively negative and rude, yet she still acted like the sweetest soul to walk on this planet! I have nothing but good things to say bout this tour and Katalina! Thank you so much! Oh, FYI we were dumb and forgot to bring cash with us, so don’t forget to get that before you go!

    Katarina and Kostas were awesome.
Katarina as guide is very passionate—she has deeply studied the caverns and monasteries, and also grew up in the town. She is like talking to a history book. And our driver Kostas was the most helpful and careful, and took some amazing pictures.
It is breathtaking to enter the monasteries, see the landscapes and visiting the church. One of a kind experience that makes the train ride worth it (it’s not bad actually, pretty cool sightseeing and comfortable seats for 2nd class).
Note: read the tour itinerary carefully. If not, you’ll be disappointed—I’m not talking for myself but for the people who were with me. All the info is sent beforehand or is on the description including the dress code for the monasteries.
