An outstanding tour that ticked the boxes for what we wanted, being a mix of history and an insight into Melbourne food culture. The walking gave us a great overview of Melbourne, the guide took us through the history and sites of the town and the food delighted us all along the way. The restaurant selection was perfect and the food tastings were exceptional . We would never have found some of the back alley restaurants on our own. If your passion is food and youre not looking for large groups where you race to try and keep up with a guide then this is the perfect tour. Weve done walking food tours all over the world and this ranks with the best of them. Thank you for a memorable day. Highly recommend.

Absolutely DO NOT miss this delicious food experience. Walking the laneways of Melbourne, seeking out the hidden gems, and taking in the surprising and rich history of Melbourne. Truly incredible! Our guide was FANTASTIC, so knowledgeable and very passionate about her hometown. And the food stops were one highlight after the next. Honestly it is hard to choose a favourite. I loved the Peruvian ceviche and the Asian dumplings best! Yum! Thank you so much for creating an unforgettable, special Melbourne experience. I LOVED every moment and will recommend it again and again. Thank you.

My husband and I took the foodies bucket list walking tour with Martina and simply adored it! Not only was Martina knowledgeable about the history of Melbourne’s food scene, she explained Melbourne’s actual history through its food. Martina also explained every dish we tried and even shared several insider tips about hidden restaurants and cafes that we would have never learned of in a visitors’ guide. This tour left my husband and I feeling like Melbourne foodie insiders, not only during the tour, but during the remainder of our stay in Melbourne. If you can only choose one foodie tour in Melbourne, this is it. You will not regret it!

We had a wonderful food tour of Melbourne. Our guide was very knowledgable as we walked through the heart of the entertainment area and we visited 3 restaurants each providing a variety of samples of their cuisine which represented the leading styles in Melbourne. We also visited a wonderful cheese shop and gelato shop. We have just started doing foodie tours and found this a wonderful way to gain local insight while having amazing foods. Highly recommend.

What a fantastic day. Weather, food and company were fantastic. After living in Melbourne my whole 40odd years I never knew there was so many nooks, laneways and secret doors that opened to such delicious venues. Martina was a fantastic host and wealth of knowledge…trust me the drink pairings are a must.

Our infectiously friendly enthusiastic guide was extremely knowledgeable about the food and the buildings around us as we walked easily around the laneways and historic malls in Melbourne. The food choices were varied and always tasty, and food preferences were well catered for. There was enough time to enjoy without being hurried and somehow we still managed to cover plenty of ground and 5 different tasting venues. Highly recommend, do it you wont be sorry!

Loved the laneways, the history and the food was awesome. The group was small so we could all hear Martina our fantastic guide. We got to try some foods and places that we wouldn’t necessarily have gone and done ourselves. Highly recommend this tour

Our guide Maria was very thoughtful and kind. We enjoyed walking around the rocks and Barangaroo with her. The food was more than adequate and the fig and ricotta gelato was delish

It was great to explore the fabulous food venues that exist in Melbourne with a knowledgeable guide. The perfect way to see Melbourne!

All in all a fantastic day with so much more than we expected. We discovered another side of Melbourne that we didn’t know existed.
Great host and amazing food. Highly recommended!

Martina was a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide who showed my husband and I another side to the city we live in. The combination of local history and culinary recommendations made the tour one we would repeat and invite friends on. In fact, we saw another couple from our tour at the restaurant where we ate dumplings, the very next day.

Great food choices! Colleen picked different types of food venues and they were all amazing. Excellent food and tour guide

Highly recommend seeing the city while having a bit to eat along the way. Be prepared to walk but at each food stop you are treated with a wonderful few bits to eat. Never felt rushed that we had to get to the next location it was enjoyable all around. Our tour was a small group.

Some of the locals on our tour knew more than the guide which was disappointing. While the food on the tour was good, I think your experience will definitely depend on your tour guide and their knowledge of the area and food.

Great experience. Tried foods that would not normally have tried. Loved the Vietnamese experience. Also just learning some of the history was quite interesting.
