The ice trekking was absolutely spectacular and definitely the highlight of our entire trip. I would highly recommend.
Note, I think the pre-trip communication could be better. The reservation stated that the company will contact me the day before with details. I did not receive any communication until after 8pm, and that was after I had sent two emails. Besides that, it was very well organized.

The guides were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and truly have a passion for what they do. This was an easy-to-moderate hike (after doing Laguna de Los Tres the day before) and the sights were absolutely stunning. We happened to be able to into an ice cave with blues so vivid you would think they were fake! You cannot miss this opportunity if you’re in the area.

Once we were at the harbour and took the boat it was an excellent and worthwhile tour. The guide and his apprentice in particular were very competent and friendly.
However the booking and getting there was a bit nightmarish and the service less than suboptimal ie.,
– We tried to book with transfer but were told our hotel is out of range of pickup.
– So we booked without transfer assuming we would be told to make it to their office…
– But we were told to make it to the harbour (1 hour and 15 minutes and 80km away) on our own
– we tried to talk to them via mail and WhatsApp to see how we can change it (irregardless of cost) and meet at their office. … only to be ignored for 2 days and then told the shuttle was full…
Definitely something to be improved (customer service, clarity and all) as it is a shame as the actual tour is great.
