Booking it by phone was OK, got conformation by email, which showed date & pick up time, but did not confirm the hotel, which was a bit worrying, but had no need to worry as got a text message the afternoon before & pick went well by Bhandari who also was the back up on the dung buggy ride, so you could leave your stuff in the land cruiser and get to it when we stopped for a break and sand surfing , Bhandari also took good photos for you as well, Sultan lead the dung buggy ride and for me it was perfect and even better than expectations , I was directly behind the lead buggy and it was a good pace, we slowed and stopped now & then for the small group to regroup & then away again, so all was happy, not forced to go quicker than you wanted, but still a good pace for those that want it and short stop or slow down to regroup, I think Sultan got it just right.

Our guide Mr Sultan was an absolute legend. We had a brilliant afternoon with him in the buggies. The dunes were awesome and we had a good laugh on the sand board. Highly recommend experience if you’re in the area!

Just under one hour of driving, you have to closely follow the guide (eat a lot of dust) As the helmets visors were so scratched and worn down we couldn’t see out of them, so had to open our visors and eat the guides dust for lunch. Yum!
Secondly, the guide didn’t take us sand boarding as promised.
That all being said, being on the dunes was great, its just a shame the service was let down.

The launching point, where you get the cars/bikes – is super dirty and filled with desperate merchants selling $5 to $10 cans of soda. Some of the staff were a bit rude, clueless. But if you just want the dunes and dont care about the rest – this is not a bad alternative.

The private pickup, fantastic and fun ride, sandboarding, and private drive back we’re all high quality and made us feel incredibly well taken care of. Everything this company does is private, which is a massive step up from the large group excursions other places offer. And the dune buggies are the biggest of any company, which made for an awesome ride! We highly recommend for anyone looking for a great time!
