Fantastic experience aboard the Al Faris Floating Restaurant. We spent 2 hours travelling along the iconic Dubai canal seeing some of its famous landmarks lit up against the night sky. The service was excellent with the waiters being very friendly and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The buffet dinner was lovely with plenty of choice and ample food for all. We booked as a last minute decision but we’re very pleased we did and had a great evening. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting a relaxing, enjoyable evening.

It was a really great trip and we enjoyed everything. The food was surprisingly tasty for a rather simple menu but the desert section was very limited. Other food was simply delicious.
When booking we didn’t get a chance to choose if we wish to sit upstairs in the open deck or downstairs with AC – that could be improved however after about 1,5h the boat parked in Business Bay and most of the people left so we could move upstairs and enjoy the last hour of the evening cruising in the open air which was fabulous.
The music was also great with saxophonist playing and some ladies even started dancing – great atmosphere.
The only thing I was not a fan of was the decoration – red velvet table skirting was looking old and not yummy to eat on. Table alcohol menu standing in Ikea picture frames was broken and scotch taped together giving an impression of no attention to details. These little things could be improved easily and would make a massive difference.
I would recommend to others anyway as we had a great evening.

This cruise allows the best views in Dubai and its duration truly allows to enjoy the full programme: views, dinner and music. Food was very good – we visited twice the pasta station, kudos to the lower deck chef! – everyone was friendly, the live saxophone player really made the evening uniquel and our servers Sajjed and Ayman were always helpful! This was also a great way to see all main Dubai views without being in the crowd. Transfer option is solid!

Not knowing what to expect, we were really pleased! We had a reserved table and were not rushing around trying to pick a table. We had bought the drinks package which turned out to be all you can drink from their set menu – white wine, red wine,& beer. There were a couple of choices of each & they weren’t bad. Then came a multiple choice for how we wanted our custom pasta – which noodle, sauce, & other ingredients. Then a buffet which was good. The boat was lovely with big windows, set tables with white tablecloths and plenty of service people. All quite nice. Then of course the cruise from Dubai City Mall through downtown and all the way south to the Dubai Marina area. The lights were spectacular!! We were so glad we did this.
We did Not so the “pickup” option but were not clear where the departure point was. The ticket info gave coordinates so we weren’t really clear where the specific dock was. It turned out that we had Ben sent a WhatsApp message with clear details but I did not see that until after the tour. This info should have been on the actual ticket.
