Great experience seeing Cradle Mountain and the beautiful surrounding areas. Our driver was great and very experienced and knowledgable. The Art Mural parks were great too. Lunch was basic. We were lucky enough to have a relatively clear day. I would definitely reschedule the tour if the weather forecast is cloudy or rainy.

Our day tour to cradle mountain was lots of fun. Pickup was easy and tour guide was great. It is a big drive, but well broken up with plenty of stops along the way.
Only downfall was the short time allowed for Ashgrove Cheese Farm. 25min is rushed and not enough time to enjoy the location. Especially when it’s busy and the lines take a long time, we didn’t have enough time to properly enjoy.

  3. PearlaD

Cradle Mountain is a must see when visiting Launceston – very picturesque. But was a bit disappointed when the group was only allowed 15 minutes in Ashgrove Cheese Factory.

It was a very enjoyable trip! We were given ample time to take walks around Cradle Mountain and to Dove Lake.
Only feedback is that the light lunch provided can certainly be improved. The burgers weren’t that great. Either that, or allow tour members to have a proper breakfast/brunch at Bossimi Cafe first before heading up to Cradle Mountain 🙂

The trip was visually awesome. Glad we did the bus trip. The driver Karen was informative, sharing lots about the area and the history. Karen drove on mountain roads confidently and carefully. A well thoughtout schedule. The weather was clear and pleasant, lucky!
The mountains and forests, endless trees, are a sight that will stay with me.

Our great day started early when we met Gary for a day of sight-seeing, good food and learning experiences. Our group of 22 was treated to a full day visiting many beautiful places. As Gary drove us around, he shared his wealth of information about this part of Tasmania. Throughout the day, Gary’s love of and pride in Tasmania was evident. We enjoyed a brief stop at Sheffield and had time to view many of the murals for which the town is famous. The beauty of Cradle Mountain did not disappoint. We had a perfect day weather-wise. The different stops were well spread out and allowed enough time to enjoy each experience. We saved this Tour for the end of our month-long visit to Tasmania and definitely saved the best for last!

The sun was out. The view spectacular.and filled my senses. So much to experience, the forest, history and the green carpets of moss, wombats, birds and bees.
Driver Ben added so much value and inspiration.l loved his passion for the history, empathy for the man who preserved this wilderness and the need to preserve this beauty for the coming generations.
Enjoyed the lunch and driver’s expectation to have everyone turn up on time for the bus at every stop. Brilliant Tour!

Really enjoyable day. My only negative comment the coach was uncomfortable. Nowhere to put bags and jacket.

My husband and friends of ours had a wonderful day trip to Cradle Mountain. Our tour guide John was so knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely worth a visit if you are visiting Tasmania.

A great trip to Cradle Mountain! The tour guide accompanied us to visit the Cradle Mountain, and made an in-depth introduction to the Natural landscape and cultural history of the Cradle Mountain, allowing us to experience the Tassie style. In addition to a detailed explanation of local plants, we also observed many wild animals during our journey. After the tour guide found out that I was a non native English speaker, he also took care of me and was very friendly. The other tourists in the group were also very friendly, and this trip was very enjoyable and unforgettable.
