This is an absolute must! Chef Massimo was incredible. We started at the market and hand picked items on our menu then went back to a kitchen/restaurant (phenomenal views) where we created everything from start to finish, with the excellence guidance of Massimo. We love making the pasta from scratch and the food tasted excellent. He provided local wines as well. This was definitely one of our favorite highlights of our 2 week vacation in Europe!

Massimo hosted an amazing cooking class! This was our favourite day of our trip and the best meal we had. I am gluten free and he was able to accommodate and make me modifications that were delicious. He did an amazing job explaining and giving practical tools to use in everyday cooking. Would 100% do this class again and recommend to everyone I know 🙂

I had a wonderful experience learning all about local and regional Sicilian food and various cooking techniques. Chef Massimo is a wonderful teacher, great personality and extremely organized. We went to a local market, we learned how to make pasta dough and shape noodles with our hands (no machines) for Pasta Norma, caponata, beef wrapped in lemon leaves, fresh fish course, as well as battered, stuffed and fried zucchini flowers! His home has gorgeous views of the Mediterranean, is clean and very well organized for classes. A veritable feast was enjoyed with 12 new friends from all over the world, along with delicious homemade Etna Bianca and Nero D’Avolo red wines……Highly recommend! Thanks Chef Massimo…..if I could give you 10 stars I would!

Starting off at the local market, Chef Massimo did a fantastic job teaching us about the local meats, fishes, and produce. Then we had a beautiful walk to his kitchen where we prepared the meal. Not only did we learn at the market but got great tips on how to prepare all the food. The food and set up to eat was awesome. Fresh and so flavorful. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting a local, delicious experience!

The cooking class with Chef Massimo was a great way to learn about traditional Sicilian food and get a reprieve from the busy summer crowds. We started at the Porta Messina with a short walk to the local market tucked away from all the bustle. Chef began explaining how to select the best seasonal local produce, meats, cheeses and fish.
Heading out of the market to the kitchen located in a picturesque villa overlooking the sea we began making our meal. The lively Chief Massimo started us off making fresh pasta and prepping vegetables. All the food was delicious and we enjoyed our feast on the terrace accompanied by local wines. Was an excellent experience running about 5 hrs from start to finish.

What a fun day! Massimo was friendly, professional and entertaining. He emphasised the importance of selecting fresh produce. We made caponata, mussels and handmade macceroni pasta with a normal sauce. We stuffed zucchini flowers finished in a perfect batter. Our mains were Sea Bass and rissoles cooked in lemon leaf. A day of Sicilian cooking with passion! All dishes were traditional and amazing. A bonus was the stunning view from an amazing setting.
