The bus was not a true hop on hop off. The buses do not run constantly and we would have been late back to the ship had the supervisor not assisted us. It was a 3 hour wait for the last bus when it should have been only an hour. Use the other hoho bus tour

This is a great way to get around Dubai and to get your bearings – awesome for photos and to get to the sights you want to see. Going from Dubai Mall we took all three routes over three days – blue, red and the night tour. The bus has air conditioning at the bottom and the top at the front or you can opt to sit in the open air at the top. Really worthwhile and loved every minute of this

not a good experience, plenty of water provided, but we stayed in marina area , a long way away from mall and missed busses etc ,had to get a taxi back to marina av cost per trip 75 dirham ,more time travelling than sight seeing ??

I do not recommend this “attraction” march-december. It is extremely hot inside the buses. The a/c doesn’t work on any of them. We suffered the 2 days we purchased it. Not only that, the wait at each stop is horrible, there is no kiosk or any shade. Do not buy it!

Blue route is longer but covers the palm, was always late and if ‘hopping’ couldn’t rely on next bus timings, the express way section was very windy up top because of higher speed, highlights palm & Marina after dark but slow during rush hours, Red route shorter with more opportunities to hop off and buses seemed more reliable, overall Ok views at night were good with buildings illuminated.

I was excited the bus picked up right at the cruise terminal and had people helping. They explained the quick shuttle would bring us to the red/blue line first stop. They also said it ran until about 6 Pm. It was quick and easy and got me on the red line. Very nice explanation for the full route,, so I ended at dubai mall, shopped a while, and had to get back to the ship. It was about 4 pm.
I couldn’t find my ticket, but they were able to help with the ticket stored on my phone. They told me to stay on that bus, to go to the shuttle. The driver first stopped at Emereti mall and as I got off, I ask where was the shuttle back to the ship. He said he didn’t know, but I’d have to stay on his full almost two hour route. I didn’t have time. My only choice was to hire a taxi. The line was packed and I got stuck paying $100 dirham for a ride that big bus promised me. By the time I finally got back to the ship, the man at the kiosk was gone. I looked this morning at 7, but no one was there.
Their mistake cost me money.
