It was a long drive to Klias river (2 hours) but the guide Silu was on time and a safe driver. He was an awesome and friendly tour guide all day.
We saw lots of monkeys and fireflies on the river. Dinner and snacks were good too.

Our guide asulu was very kind and we were the only 2 persons he was driving to the attraction .it was a very enjoyable ride and when we reach the lake to see the proboscis monkeys and fireflies , he was very knowledgeable about the area and informed us step by step about everything we had questions about .

It was like expected. You have to anticipate a two hour ride to and from the Klias river but that’s simply because of distance and road conditions. I would have liked better seats in the van, at the end it was almost painful. The cruise itself was nice and calm, guides did take enough time to explore. At the end we approached sunset with nice pictures in addition. Dinner was ok, standard, but I am not taking a tour because of dinner. So I was satisfied with dinner as well. Fire flies was a short 30 min boat ride but interesting. Tour was back in KK at 22:00. Overall good value for time and money spent.

It was very interesting to see proboskys monkeys and amasing Fireflies at night. The driver/tour gide was very kind and give us a lot of information. I only recommend to reduce the waiting time before the boats, because 1 hour is little bit annoying.

The trip was organised very well and our driver was safe and accommodating. It was so great to see the monkeys and we even got to hold a firefly which made it really special. So peaceful sailing along the river with lots of happy memories made.

Klias River Cruise is a perfect getaway for a close encounter with the very rare proboscis monkeys in their natural habitat. This tour didn’t disappoint us. We’ve seen full adult male and female monkeys as well as juvenile ones feeding on mangrove leaves. We also had a bonus sightings of long-tailed monkeys, monitor lizards, parakeets, swifts and other varieties of birds during the cruise. The firefly tour is magical as the fireworks in Disneyland!
Our driver/tour guide Shamlee knows his craft very well. He drives his best as well despite the road condition along the way. Marilyn, the tour operator checks us once in a while, a much appreciated gesture for making sure that their clients are in good shape. The snacks and the dinner buffet is an interesting flow of Malaysian food that could be a hit or miss to your distinctive taste but for us, it is a hit! I personally love the fish dish!
