It wasnt as described at all, we started on the Manavgat river which was filthy with rubbish and what looked like sewage, we stopped at a filthy beach on the river mouth for a swim for 45 mins when they closed the bar! They then served lunch which was ok but still no bar staff, We paid for the all inclusive trip. after lunch we went straight to the harbour at Side, from where we were suppose to start the trip we were told the boat trip was over and a bus would take us to the waterfalls and bazaar. They took us to the wrong side of the waterfalls where it was a rough path where the older people couldnt get down to see, where as across the waterfalls was a proper viewing area with paths etc. The bazaar was a textile market selling all the countrfeit gear especially for tourists. Then bus back to the hotels. The boat was a novelty to go on though, a lookalike pirate ship with crows nests.

boat rip really good and crew excellent and attentative…..waterfalls trip terrible waist of time 2 hours and then part way through had to drive around to other side so actually onl spent 20 minutes there..would rather have spent more time at market which is huge and well worth a visit

Wir haben das All-inclusive gewählt – doch trotzdem mussten wir 3 Euro pro Person zahlen um den Manavgat-Wasserfall zu sehen. (dieser Besuch lohnt sich leider nicht wirklich, alle sehr kommerzialisiert)
Das Essen war allerdings sehr lecker – jedoch ist auch dort all-inclusive weit übertrieben, man darf sich einmal eine Portion nehmen.

You get to travel on what looks like a pirate ship! The ship goes along the river to the where the river joins the sea. Out to sea for a short while then back to the river to stop for a swim and lunch. After lunch it’s back to the bus to be transferred to the Manavgat falls. Then on to the Bazaar. The Bazaar is huge! When we were there very hot.
Overall for the price you pay a great day out!
I’m not sure that ithe Bazaar would be good for younger children due to the heat.

Very poor trip ! Shabby boat, old and worn out. Up the river, back down the river, out to sea round a buoy and back, what was the point. The captain, Memhet, was not happy when I complained and was on his mobile and I quite expected to be removed. We then went by mini bus to a poor market. Met up for the mini bus, where I was told we were going back to our hotel. I told them we had not been to the waterfall, they said that would not happen. I was forced to make a stand and eventually after a lot of arguing, we were taken to the waterfall , then back to our hotel. This was the trip from hell !!!

Captain Mehmet was brilliant, especially as my E ticket clearly stated waterfalls to be told it didn’t, he got on phone & sorted straight out, wonderful knowledgeable host & couldn’t do enough for everyone on the boat

Booked this for a family of four purely to go to the waterfalls – we didn’t go to the waterfalls!! When I asked the driver what happened to the waterfalls when he pulled in by our hotel he didn’t even reply. So basically we paid for a cruise down a river that doesn’t even have any nice views, lunch which was nice but not a “Turkish style buffet” it was just a bit of chicken and some cuscus, and a 2.5 hour stop at the market which was okay but not great. If we had wanted to see the market it would have been much cheaper to just get a taxi there and back from our hotel. The beach stop was also nothing special, just a bit of gravely sand on the side of the river. After contacting the tour operator afterwards and complaining I was told the waterfalls are an extra add on. When I argued it said included and that you just had to pay the €3 entrance there I was then told they were closed due to covid – something that should have been communicated before or we wouldn’t have gone.
