Buses were fine during the day but the night tour was bad. We went to the Chinese street food market. Had less than 30 minutes before we had to be back at the bus. We were told firstly that the bus was late because of the Indian festival (which happens every year). Then we were told it had broken down. It eventually turned up (hadn’t broken down). Went to the Gardens by the bay, which was the main reason for the excursion for most people). Our guide asked if we could leave five minutes before the end to get back to the bus. As the show only lasted 15 minutes we refused.
Very young guide who didn’t give much info at all.

There isn’t any sight-seeing corner of Singapore that the Hop-On Hop-Off Bus doesn’t take you to. Grab a map from the company, pick your sites, and hop on the bus that will go on that route–all color coded. Couldn’t be easier!

The variety of routes and the ability to hop on and off at a number of different points, changing routes whenever is great. You don’t want to be sitting upstairs in the uncovered seating in the hot sun without a hat or some sort of cover though.

Got off a cruise at 8 am and flight home wasn’t until 9:30 pm. Had a shuttle from cruise port to airport, stored our luggage, and headed out. No stop is real close to airport so we took a taxi to stop #1 for all the routes. Because I use Viator for many of my excursions we had booked this two days before. The only downside is that the green line doesn’t have any commentary. Some headphone connections were better than others. The young girl working the ticket stand was excellent. They seem to schedule the lunch about the same time, but she came over to be sure we knew which bus was leaving when. Some drivers a bit better than others in that they make sure everyone is down from upstairs or on the sidewalk wanting to get on before pulling away.

24 hours is enough for yellow and red routes, you can do pm then am next day . So many shopping centres to pick from, Orchard road is expensive, most places in Singapore shopping is expensive.

The driver was driving so fast , did not consider safety . People were not seated yet and he just drove not slowly but as if he was catching someone . The audio was not working , there wasn’t enough commentary. Also he didn’t say the newton food market was closed and we walked there with for a while very hungry .

Being able to go to little India twice! Raffles hotel stop let us have the opportunity to have the Singapore Sling, and then move on. Loved the night market tour and the wonderful guides; and bus driver dropped us at our hotel at the end of the tour

We did the two day hop on hop off – drops you off at all the key attractions within walking distance. The app is very efficient and keeps customers up to date with arrival of next buses. The drivers are quick though so if you want to sit upstairs you have to be quick as the bus is moving. Great day all round – can get very hot but ac downstairs is available.
