Pick up and return at hotel made it a relaxing wine tasting experience. Driver was very accommodating
Phoebe_M –
Alan was great! He was very knowledgeable and hilarious. Alan took us to some fabulous wineries. Would highly recommend!
Debra_K –
Both the 1847 winery & Murray Street winery were outstanding, a wonderful experience..thank you. Our driver Alan was fun and very courteous and informative. Jess at Kies was very friendly but unfortunately we can not recommend lunch at Kies as the Monkey Nut chicken was awful and the chips with the Lamb Pie were hard and cold.
Cheryl_R –
We had a great day, and particularly enjoyed going the wineries we visited. Lunch at Kies was yum. The bonus stop at Maggie Bears was a highlight and of course we enjoyed Alan’s knowledgeable commentary of the region.
Daniel_W –
Alan our driver was great. Wonderful witt.
All wineries were good.
The stop at the Maggie Beer farm/shop could be dropped. One person on the tour knew who she was.
Communication from the company was great. They told me what type of vehicle, the name on the van and the drivers name and confirmed pickup location.
Amazing day.
Helen_F –

Judith_B –
We had a fabulous day, the driver was excellent, the wineries were fantastic, lunch was good. Great travelling to boutique wineries with a small group of friendly people. Each winery gave us useful information on the different wines. An opportunity to try special wines that are not available outside the Barossa.

Robert was an excellent driver and tour guide; none better
We felt we were treated very well in terms of the information we received before the tour, including being picked up and dropped off
Nothing was spared to ensure our comfort and to accommodate the interests and needs of every person in our group
our small group quickly bonded, and the wineries we visited were first rate
As for the wines we sampled
This was a wonderful experience that we can wholeheartedly recommend to anyone

Tour driver and leader Alan took 9 of us on a wonderful tour of 4 Barossa Valley wineries. His informative guide of the area was very good. Being driven around as a small group visiting wineries is a very relaxing experience. At the tastings we were not only guided through each wineries offerings but also were shown interesting aspects of history and manufacturing. A surprise stop at Maggie Beers farm delighted everyone. Thank you Alan for a lovely day.

We enjoyed the day with Roy as our driver and guide. Quality of the cellar door experiences varied. One included a tour of the facilities and had a personal touch. Others were less so. Lunch at Kies was very good.
Donna_C –
Driver was most helpful and fun. Coach was very clean and comfortable. Winery’s selected were good choices for me.

Going solo to this event I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed it.
I met two other couples from different backgrounds and really enjoyed their company and our experience.
Outside of that Roy the tour guide was an absolute champ and a heap of laughs to boot!!
David_W –
The Tour was great and the vineyards we visited were all excellent. Robert our tour guide was awesome.
Robert picked us up on time and was very informative and knowledgeable. He even went off his way to get some Vegemite for us to try.
We would highly recommend this tour.

This was a fun way to hit a few vineyards, visit the valley and not have to be the designated driver.

DO NOT book this tour. It’s a scam. We had taken screenshots of the website tour description at the point of our providing feedback and it clearly stated “menu selection for lunch” at Kies, which the guide indeed told us upon pick up and said lunch would be a few dishes and a shared platter. Instead, what we had was just ONLY a cold cheese ham crackers individual platter. We raised it to the tour operator Grieg after and he denied and had the audacity to change the website before replying and claims it is “platters or off menu options”, but our original website screenshot captured just exposed his dishonesty without being apologetic and refusing to give us a partial refund. If Kies is closed on tuesdays, the tour operator should have informed us prior and changed the lunch venue which would have been acceptable. A total scam and a very unpleasant Tour operator. We will be escalating this to Viator with our original screenshots as supporting proof.
