We chose the tour with the biggest boat to be more comfortable, but it still felt like a bucking bronco for 30 minutes at both ends of the tour. Several people felt seasick, so if that’s your issue, beware. They dolphins were a bit disappointing, only 3-6 of them. But we loved the caves! The main guide spoke English too fast for us to catch every word, but he was helpful and checked on us regularly, to make sure we were okay. (We were his oldest passengers.) The young woman guide spoke very well and told some good tall tales.

With the purchase of tickets online, remember to go first to the information which will provide you with a plastic ticket/badge in color corresponding to your circuit. No need to arrive 30 minutes before, 10 will suffice.

Simply exquisite. This trip was led by the leader Pedro and his team, Dominique and Renato. Pedro is very experienced, knowledgeable and above all, he made our excursion fun with his in-born sense of humour and wit. We were extremely lucky and actually spotted MANY dolphins (however this can not be guaranteed, please bear in mind) and had a thoroughly enjoyable visit of the caves and surrounding. We would wholeheartedly recommend this. The weather in Algarve between 27th to 30th December was beautifully bright and warm compared to the UK where we are from! This activity is suitable for whole family and children had a chance to ‘navigate’ the boat!
