Overall very positive experience. Accommodations were nice. Meals had plenty of choices. Especially liked breakfast. When leaving for an early temple tour provided a breakfast box. Would have liked to spend more time in Luxor, but this was a nice overview of several temples/sites for a first visit.

This trip was wonderful from beginning to end. Boat is comfortable; food good and plentiful. Attractions, of course, are amazing and very well-run. Our guide was excellent, knowledgeable, kind, and flexible, adjusting our schedule to our preferences. Recommend this trip!

I truly enjoyed this cruise! The ship is excellent with updated furniture and spacious rooms. The food was excellent and the private tour guide and Vehicles made a difference highly recommended it!
The crew on the ship and Ashraf Elbadry our tour guide were the best parts of our trip. Our room number 206 was quiet and clean.
I was disappointed in not sailing on the first night and then having to stay with the table we were assigned throughout the trip.
The food was good and plentiful with several choices. However the last meal which was planned as special wasn’t the best. The steak and the prawns were both on. I’m sure it isn’t easy cooking for a lot of people at once so maybe the last meal should be just a simple variation on the other dinners where people choice what they want.

The tour guy Ashraf is very accommodating to our needs especially traveling with my mom’s bad knee. The experience with him was great. Unfortunately I chose the Blue Shadow 1 cruise from Aswan to Luxor. The cruise is very dirty and some staffs were very rude. I didn’t enjoy staying at this cruise at all besides the beautiful scenery. Do not use Blue Shadows at all.

The places we visited are excellent but we felt let down by the guides. Our guides are fairly friendly but their knowledge of Egyptian history and storytelling ability have much room for improvement. If we do it again, we would not get a guide and would just read from guide books which provide far better information.
