Was ok. The wineries were all lovely, felt slightly rushed in some parts and often pointlessly long in other wineries. The group size was much bigger than I was expecting compared to other available tours and we were in a very large coach. For me it was just OK.

Absolutely amazing day in the Barossa Valley. Great Guide and we had a beautiful lunch . Loved the visit to Wolf Blass and the beautiful boutique wineries. Enjoyed visiting Maggie Beer’s farm shop.

We were 18 on tour not exactly a small-group tour as we were starting off people who were at rear of bus came forward the noise on the bus was awful the driver said that called an engine not an apology for the noise the bus was past its best and should be scrapped
The trip itself was brilliant and the driver very knowledgeable but please invest in modern transport and smaller groups
Elizabeth_B –
We had a great day, loved the spots we stopped at such a beautiful day. Pub choice for lunch was good, food and entertainment. Comfortable trip we will recommend to our friends.
David_G –
Driver was very informative but the trip lacked what we went for which was wine tasting spent more time on the bus than visiting wineries not worth $170 per person
Iqra_K –
Our tour guide Roger went above and beyond to make sure we all had a fantastic and entertaining trip. The wineries were well selected and food at the lunch stop was amazing! Fantastic day and easy way to see the Barossa without worrying about the organising…
alisonwallace –
Excellent guides and wonderful day in the Barossa sampling wines and food, just the right pace, couldn’t really fault anything. Always difficult travelling solo but it was fine and great guide
Sarah_K –
Great driver, tours, wine and food. Overall a great day. Only thing that was disappointing was no wine tasting included at Maggie Beer’s farm, which wasn’t clear until we arrived. Out driver Mark was excellent.

Coach guide Athol very informative commentary during the trip providing interesting insight with a sense of humour into the Barossa Valley and Adelaide area.
hannelore_r –
The winery
And a very nice lunch at Lamberts
But disappointed not to have seen
Maggie Beers place as I booked this specially for that
Helen_A –
Lunch was very good. Wineries and chocolate factory good. I only maked my score down because trip was advertised as a small bus and a maximum of 20 people. We had a full size bus and I counted atleast 30 people – not what was expected. Not a real problem but tends to slow trip down. I understand itineries can change but this one was completely different.

A fabulous day. Lots to see and taste without feeling rushed. A good mix of Barossa wine, food and chocolate. Our driver Athol was a hoot!

Shame we weren’t told that the tour no longer visits Maggie Beers until after our first stop. Our driver said the contract ran out a month ago, so would have been nice to know that in advance so that we could possibly make other arrangements. Instead, we were dropped off at a little collection of companies and given only 45 minutes to explore all 5 of them, all of which were at our own extra expense. Also, the chocolate tasting stop was a little disappointing – the wines were all quite average and the chocolates were just simple white/milk/dark squares. I was expecting something really interesting and exciting about the specific pairings of certain chocolates with certain wines. Our driver for the day was informative and amusing although he seemed to have a lot to complain about. The first stop at Pindarie Estate was great, the food at lunch was delicious, and the day was overall enjoyable, but definitely was expecting a little more.
