Walking through the beautiful temperature rainforest. Tasting all the lovely food on the way, honey, cheeses. Spending the day out with our group was a lot of fun.

My husband and I went on this trip on 11 Dec 2024, a Sunday.
Trent was a very good guide. Informative and fun! We managed to spot a white wallaby in clear view, just a couple of meters away fr the road.
Lunch at Bruny Hotel was a little pricey but there are cheaper options nearby.
As it turned out, there were only 10 of us in our 12 seater mini bus. A nice and cosy group. We got to know some other travellers in the group and had fun learning about their varied background.
Despite rain according to weather forecast, we only experienced some light drizzle while we had lunch. Glad we did not cancel the trip! Trent wisely arranged for us to take our iconic photo at the famous lookout in the morning before the skies turned cloudy! Great job, Trent!! It was a really enjoyable trip, a highlight of our holiday.

It was really fun travelling with Peter’s commentary and his guide tour. Peter was the best tour guide that I have ever met, he was very informative about the entire trip and I will definitely recommend Tassie tours to all my friends.

This was a wonderful day! Saw (and tasted) the best of Bruny with other like-minded people. Our tour guide was a safe driver and had lots of knowledge to share with us throughout the day.

Went with Tassie Tours for this trip. They were excellent.
On board commentary was excellent and knowledgeable being a local. Bruny Island was stunning and landscapes was breathtaking even on an overcast day. A must do

Our tour guide Andrew was informative and helpful. Enjoyed the whole tour, but particularly liked the rainforest, the lagoon, the lighthouse. Some of the views were spectacular. Had the best pub lunch, we shared garlic bread and seafood platter. It was delicious and fresh. And I loved the chocolate shop, being a chocoholic.

Great day on Bruny, packed with things to see and do. Worth the bumpy drive and climb for spectacular views at Cape Bruny lighthouse and yummy oysters for lunch at the pub. Ethan was very friendly and knowledgeable. Recommend this trip.

Got of at the ferry terminal as this tour started to look like it was going to be run so unprofessionally took a bus back to Hobart would never book again
Tamara_H –
Andrew is a great guide, very knowledgeable and with great local experience. A great day out in a beautiful part of the world.
Clara_H –
It was a great trip, Andrew our guide tour is very knowledgeable about the area and had a great time management so we could do everything the island has to offer. My favourite spot was the lagoon and the oyster drive through.
If I had to make a suggestion would be to change the time of visiting the neck lookout, early in the morning with the clouds is hard to appreciate its beaty, the afternoons are much brighter and warmer for that.
Thanks for a great adventure.

Bruny Island Tassie Tours was by far the best day adventure I’ve ever had. Our guide Kevin was an absolute legend, raconteur, comedian and full to the brim with historical, geographical and local knowledge. Our family will always cherish our time spent on Bruny Island.

It was an amazing tour. We could not have done a better job seeing Bruny Island ourselves. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and showed us all of the best parts of the island, making our day!
Victoria_L –
Excellent day trip with a wonderful guide, Andrew. We were only in Hobart for a couple of days and so glad to find an affordable full day trip in Bruny Island experiencing the highlights and extras. Prompt and efficient pick up and drop off, very comfortable transport. A great mix of wonderful highlights from Bruny island including a walk up to Truganini lookout, seeing a white wallaby (and grey ones also), beautiful beaches including a swim/paddle in a lagoon, stopping for a delicious lunch at Bruny hotel. As well as tasting local honey, chocolate, fudge, cheese and the freshest tastiest oysters ever. Excellent value for money and experience. We had the most beautiful weather which meant Bruny island was showcased at its finest. Highly recommend Tassir tours

Travelling round. Seeing areas quite out of the way. Time to explore at every stop without rushing. Knowledge of the driver. Convenient pickup spot.

It is a must when you’re in Hobart. A full day trip in this beautiful island full of iconic breath taking views. Beautiful place to be in.
Trent was our guide and he was amazing full of patience and wide knowledge about the place.

Our driver and guide Andrew was exceptional. His knowledge of Bruny Island gave us an experience I will never forget. Andrew took us to special spots that no other guide does. He knew where to look for the albino kangaroo and he gave us time to take photos. So much to tell.
