We are a family of 8 with only three people who speak English, never kayaked, showed up an hour late, and added an extra person to our tour last second. However, Tiffany and Allan, our guides for the float, still made this tour the highlight of our trip. They were super considerate of our delays and got us in the water with proper training in under 20 minutes. Tiffany and Allen are two of the most outstanding individuals we have ever met, being super considerate of our lack of experience and fear of tipping. Even in a shortened time frame, the scenery was phenomenal, and we had loads of fun. Even after the tour was over, Tiffany sat with us and gave us recommendations of things to do for the rest of our stay at Yellowstone. We are beyond grateful for the experiences our guides gave us and couldn’t have survived Yellowstone without their advice. They seriously turned an awful first day into the best night of our trip.

Our guide Maddi was awesome! The weather was perfect, the water was calm and the scenery was breath taking. Maddi did a great job of explaining the different land and water features and making it fun for our whole family! Great all around experience!!

Seeing a geyser erupt as we paddled by and Maddie giving her points of interest on the way , like Lake Farts ( we did see them 😀) Maddie always told us about the lay IC the land and some historic info, quite interesting. She was GREAT. We’d do it again 👍👍

I got altitude sickness and our guide Maddie was very helpful in getting me back to the dock..I was disappointed there wasn’t more to see for the time I was on the trip. The rudder worked well. How can I get a tip to Maddue?

Our tour guide was Madi and she was awesome! She was extremely knowledgeable regarding the lake as well as Yellowstone in general. She was genuinely excited and loved all things Yellowstone. She was also in constant check of our safety and comfort. Her love of her job was evident. Not only did they provide the kayaks, but also rain jackets, life jackets, and dry bags. The tour was not physically difficult and we got to see and learn about a lot of the thermal features.
