As Aucklanders we have visited Waiheke a few times but it was really nice to do do something there we hadn’t done before. The local knowledge and they great diversity of the wineries we visited was lovely. We like that the tour also included a lunch. The length the tour mean that we go tot know the other tour members over the day and we all had enjoyable time together.

The hosts were super nice and accommodating! The best tour and service you will find! Due to long lines at the ferry terminal, we missed our 9am ferry to Waiheke. Highly recommend you leave at least 40 mins for peak season! The host was super understanding and sent a driver to pick us up for the next one. Due to the delay, we missed the first winery but the host took us to another one at the end to make up for it. This was VERY kind and the hosts were just amazing. Another thing, one of my friends got sick and couldn’t make the tour anymore and the company was very good about refunding her portion. Highly recommend this tour! The wineries were great and food was really good! We had 2 vegetarians in the group and they easily accommodated for us!

Our guide Simon [from ASANA Tours] was excellent. Clear voice, well-spoken, friendly and knowledgeable. Toured four wine estates [Kennedy Point, Batch, Awaroa and Stony Ridge]. Each had their wine makers address us and we enjoyed our wine tasting paired with different food selections at the first three culminating with an excellent substantial lunch platter for two at Stony Ridge
Each estate had their speciality based on climate, soil and temperature variations; and each wine-maker was passionate about the wine industry on Waiheke Island, but especially about the “uniqueness” of their own estate
The good weather added to a wonderful outing, which I would thoroughly recommend
