Stonetown is a vibrant, interesting and colourful town. It would have been easy to get lost without the assistance of a guide who new a great deal of the history of the area. Unfortunately a lot of the more interesting buildings were under renovation and covered in corrugated iron nevertheless it was a good tour.

Hamad was so knowledgeable (qualified and passionate), which allowed us to learn a lot about the history of Zanzibar (and more). He made changes to the itinerary according to our preferences. We highly recommend that travelers take a tour as early as possible during their stay in Stone town, we definitely enjoyed our experience.

The slave trade history was very interesting and hard to hear about. The guide was very knowledgeable and answered all manner of questions I had. He even gave me a little quiz at the end to see how much I learned. I would recommend this tour.

Han förklarade och berättade om allt som vi ville veta o lite till. Väldigt påläst om allt. Vi gick runt i staden genom gränder o gator och han visade oss allt som var värt att se. Vi fick se alla ställen som vi hade hoppats få se. Vi avslutade med en tur på marknaden där han tog oss runt och visade hela marknaden. En väldigt bra dag och tur som vi varmt kan rekommendera!
