Grouse mountain was beautiful and the chair ride was awesome! We saw a bear while on the chair lift and some very tame deer.

Our guide Dominique was excellent! Totally enjoyed everything and she was very friendly and knowledgeable!

Kyle is an amazing guide, naturally funny and witty and seems to know everyone. It made the experience so much more pleasurable. He knew all the tricks of what to see when, in order to avoid the crowds of tourists and be the first in line. Most notably, the gondola on Grouse mountain broke down (but thankfully not midway). So hundreds of us were stuck on the mountain waiting for it to be fixed. However we were at ease as Kyle kept us engaged and he knew most of the staff so we got regular updates and the 2 hours of waiting passed quickly.
Overall this was a very well managed tour! Highly recommend!

Kyle was a terrific guide – energetic and entertaining! The visit to Capilano Bridge and Cliff Walk was exciting and memorable. The visit to Grouse Mountain was great- views and photos- skipping the line made it even better!

Suspension Bridge the most spectacular part of the tour. We enjoyed the knowledge of our driver and his very communicative attitude. His name was Stan as far as I remember. After Suspension Bridge we took the ride to Grouse Mountain. Beautifull ride to the top. We enjoyed the Lumberjack Show. Very funny, but ½ hour could have been cut from the 5 hours tour. Starting point 9 am was very good giving us the opportunity to arrive at Suspension Bridge before larger groups. The car was blinded so colour of trees outside turned from green to autumn colours.

Stanley picked us up promptly from our hotel (the Douglas) at 8.30 am. We went to pick up 2 other couples and very soon on our way to Capilano. He sorted out our tickets and let us roam around the place for 1.5 hrs which was enough time to see everything there. By 1 pm we were on our way to Grouse Mountain where we watched the lumberjack show and saw the two grizzly bears. It was a perfect itinerary for us as we didnt want to be too tired for our concert later in the evening. Stan is a very pleasant guide and shared plenty of interesting facts and history about Vancouver city. We were dropped off at our hotel for a late lunch. There wasn’t too much strenuous walking required for this tour. I would definitely recommend this tour
James_K –
We were very disappointed with our guide Kyle
He completely ruined our time at Grouse Mt
His plan and schedule made us completely miss the lumberjack show
And we had told him in advance that we wanted to see it
But we Did Not!!
Its mentioned in the description of the tour and Kyle made sure we missed it
Then he blamed it on the show people
When it was a major screw up on his part
Why pay $200 plus for a tour guide who has no idea what time the show starts or ends yet it is quite clearly posted the lumberjack show began at 11:15am
Thanks Kyle!
You Blew It!!!

One word, yikes! I had researched pretty thoroughly prior and this tour seemed like it had great reviews. I don’t know what I was looking at. We booked a few months out and we’re confirmed for 9 am. At 630 the night before they email us that they could arrive anytime between 8:30-9. I emailed back asking if they could call us when they arrived so we didn’t need to wait a half hour in the lobby and no one responded. Sure enough, they called at 8:45 that they are in the lobby. Surprise! We get in the van to pick-up the 2nd group and they take a few minutes to get in as apparently they were told 10 am. Keep in mind that it is still only 9am. We got to the 3rd hotel for a pick-up and this guy is peeved as he has been trying to contact the company for a week and no one has responded to him. He said he was trying to reschedule for another tour but no one ever got back to him. Our guide/driver tells him that isn’t his department but he’s sorry.
We then begin the drive to Capilano and the guide pretty clearly doesn’t know what he’s talking about. He’s contradicting himself. He mentions that he’ll flake us to the Little Mermaid statue but never does. (Not that we asked, but sharing to show he was all over the place.) I asked if Vancouver has an artists scene and he said not really. We’ve since found out that is not correct. He was a glorified driver. Honestly that was fine since that was all we really needed.
The the bridge, he gives us our tickets and then says he’ll meet us back at the car in 50 minutes. He’s afraid of heights so he’s just going to let us wander. At Grouse Mountain he gets on the gondola first, not checking to see if we are behind us. Once there he just funnels us through the activities so he pretty much had to do nothing. We get there right in time for the beginning of the lumberjack show ( giving him a half hour free), we walk over to the bear enclosure, then he has us take the ski lift to the top and says he’ll meet us below in 40 minutes. We were pretty much on a self guided tour the whole time with the other couple. Good thing we liked them! And because the guide wasn’t with us, we constantly felt rushed and didn’t get to fully explore. We got back down from the chair lift and spent 5 minutes popping around different buildings searching for him. He was sitting down on his phone. After the gondola, he marched straight to the van, not waiting to see if we were following. Good thing we knew what the van looked like. Long story short, this guy was not a tour guide. This was a means to get to and from Capilano/Grouse and the city. We ended up having fun though as we liked the couple that we were with. If I’m ranting the tour though, it was a complete waste of time and a horrible experience.

Kyle was an amazing guide and we had such a fun time with him on this tour. This is a must do activity while you are here this does help you escape the crowds and get ahead of the bigger tours. Highly recommend
Lucia_B –
Capilano Suspension Bridge was excellent. However, Grouse Mountain was cancelled when we got back on the bus from the Bridge due to weather. We did a city tour instead, however we had already explored the city the day before so was of no value to us. We did however, drive through Stanley Park which was a nice experience. We were reimbursed a portion of the excursion, but only after I had to make a few phone calls to Viator and then the tour operator to get my refund.
Shirley_C –
A beautiful day and a really nice tour. We loved seeing the bears on Grouse Mountain. Thank you to Kyle for being so friendly, informative and very accomodating!! He’s the best! Thank you!

Tour exactly as advertised. Driver and host Kyle was knowledgeable and professional. Both sites are worth the visit! This your makes seeing them both in one half day easy and stress-free.
Lauri_M –
Kyle our guide was so knowledgeable, he made the trip very interesting. Grouse Mountain was closed so we did a tour of the city and the Capilano Bridge. Loved the city tour part and the Capilano bridge should not be missed!
Paul_U –
This trip got changed to a Vancouver Tour and Capilano due to the fact that Grouse Mountain was closed for maintenance. Our tour guide Kyle was excellent! Pointed out historical facts was kind and funny. Capilano Suspension Bridge Parknis a MUST DO in Vancouver. We were actually glad that we got the tour as we saw and learned so much.
